BEWARE: There is NOTHING luxurious about this property. The entire property from the main entry to the rooms are very dated and worn (not in a historic way but in a totally unfashionable, very faded way). Pure ugly. This property has no host and essentially no amenities. The window views of the photos give a sense of an old-world, charming hotel. This is what we expected. We made an uniformed decision to book based upon the name, a significant price point, the view photos, and reviews that suggested it was loved by couples. All of these factors set an expectation that this would be a nice place. It is NOT. A sticker on the front door from 2015 says it is 4.5 stars. That tells everything. No update sense 2015! You have to call a number to get anyone to open the main door to let you in. This is quite challenging - particularly when the phone number posted on the door is a non-working phone number. We arrived at 7pm and fortunately found a neighboring restaurant that could help us contact the host. Then an elderly woman answered the phone and buzzed us in the door and directed us where to find our room door. Once we arrived at our room, we decided it was such a downer that we would leave. Then the nightclub adjacent to the property opened. Music played loudly until the late evening. We decided the place was too gross to stay, and we forfeited our prepaid room, (a signficant amount flushed without any option for reimbursement). Lesson learned.

The lady that cared for the property was wonderful. It was very comfortable and so convenient to local attractions. Parking is available nearby but you will have to bring you bags 100m or so from the paid parking garage. But once you’re settled it’s wonderful

Loved the location. Disappointed that there was no breakfast since earlier reviews said the breakfast was great. Stop calling it a B and B.

The stay was excellent. One important thing to note is that there are two bars just downstairs from the rooms both with live music that continues until midnight multiple nights a week. It is quite loud

Ah Taormina...the unexpected jewel in our two week trip to Italy. Location location location. You're on the main street where locals do the evening passegiata. The hotel has very nice and helpful staff who puts together a tasty fortifying breakfast for you. The room is ample and clean. I would definitely stay here again. In fact you know how you play "could I live here" when you're on vacation? The answer is hands down yes! We were in Taormina during low tourist season and it is clear there are day trippers who come visit, but the real joy is having enough time to explore the little streets, discovering sumptuously decorated balconies with container gardens, or the hilly walks down to the beaches, or the walled perimeters of the old city. Not to mention a day trip to Mt Etna. So glad we spent 3 days here; could have stayed longer.

Barbara gave us a very nice breakfast. The room was attractive in a desirable part of Taormina. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. We had an excellent view of the sea. We would stay there again.
