The hotel had the best view of Mt Fuji from the onsen and from the garden. The hotel is not that fancy but the room has plenty of space for the 2 of us. I loved the onsen which was open until midnight then opens up at 5am until 10 am. It was next to the Ubako station where you can either take the ropeway to the Owakudani to see the volcano or take the bus which is just few mins away from the hotel. The food was just ok for dinner and breakfast but with the price, I guess, we cannot complain. We took the bullet train from Kyoto at 8:33 am and arrived at 10:38 am at Odawara. We took the Hakone loop which took forever to go to Hakone shrine due to long lines in the cable cars, ropeway and pirate ship. Next time, we will take the bus to Owakudani then ropeway to the hotel then start a fresh morning to Hakone Shrine either via pirate ship or bus.

We booked this hotel hoping we’re able to see the Mount Fuji and yes we did but for a few minutes. They have one of the best onsen and the best dinner and breakfast buffet. 👌🏻
