Fantastic We arrived at Soleil Luxury Rooms after midnight. We let our host know that we would be arriving late and she provided us with all of the instructions needed to access the room. Our driver dropped us at the Buza Gate and we had to walk down a lot of stairs to get to our room. Even though it is a much longer walk, I recommend using the Ploce Gate as the stairs are very limited. Once in the room, it was spacious and private. The room is also greatly located as you walk down just a few steps and you are in the heart of the town. Overall, it was a great stay and we highly recommend it.

Fantastic Very nice location but beware of the stairs!! It was pretty arduous in the heat! The room was so cool in the palace!

Below averageStayed with friends
Prepare yourself to walk down 125 steps to get down to there. Once you walk in, terrible musty and dirty carpet in the hallway, then you have to walk up 3 flights or stairs. The room was very basic.. no hooks to hang towels in the shower, nowhere to keep your amenities in the shower, so everything stayed on the floor. Water was lukewarm for about 30 seconds before going cold… air conditioning did not work properly and we couldn’t open the shutters to have sun light in the room or the temperature would hover over 30 degrees so it felt like we were sleeping in a closet. The location is great within the city walls, but that’s it.

GreatStayed with partner
Great location in the heart of old town. Friendly and accommodating host. Comfortable room with a tiny bathroom. It has basic amenities but nice to have a small fridge in the room. Not sure what makes it “luxury”, but it’s affordable and definitely works for a short stay.

Good The location of the property is AMAZING. Right near everything in Old Town Dubrovnik. The room had everything we needed and the staff we very helpful with some of our requests. The stairs inside are steep but manageable. Just a fair warning to others that the AC unit in our room struggled which made it difficult after spending all day in the hot weather to cool down.

FantasticStayed with partner
Amazing location in the heart of Dubrovnik, inside the walls. So many choices for food and shopping. The room was not huge (didn’t expect it to be) but all space was well utilized to give you enough room to move around. Anamarie was wonderful, helpful and communicated great throughout the checkin process and days leading up to checkin.

GoodSolo stay
Access to the apartment was very difficult with luggage. Both through the town and when in the main building. It would be helpful to advise customers of the porter service that is available. As there was no information about the access difficulty - I found the porter service myself for leaving. Would strongly advise for the amount of stairs with luggage especially for solo travellers as multiple trips needed. It’s a nice apartment and the host is lovely. BUT the noise outside on a Wednesday evening went on until 1.30am. I don’t feel it was worth 200 euro per night. All be it the location is good. But would rather have had a quiet place to sleep at night. Host could offer the info of the local porter service and make the access clear in the details as I wouldn’t have stayed there had I known that.
