The property is an older-style hotel with stunning views of Samaná Bay. The rooms are spacious and well laid out, although the furniture and amenities feel dated, reminiscent of the 1990s. It's a good place to stay if your plan is to explore the town of Samaná and enjoy the beautiful nearby beaches.

We booked this last minute and had to get an interior room. There was a little balcony right outside our room with beautiful views of the bay. We were able to walk down to the restaurants and shops. The room was clean, the shower head was terrible and the refrigerator did not work. We did not have any maid service while we were there .
, too short of a time. It had a nice restaurant with an amazing view and breakfast came with our room. The man who seemed to be in charge was very nice and helpful.

For the cost, I expected more. It was abou $100 per night. I should have AirBNB'd it. The room was ok. None of the drains had covers so we were afraid "water bugs" would come out. Also there were male teenagers in front of the property that were harassing my daughter. Did not feel safe. Staff was very nice though.
