Spacious room for a japan standard. Behind the hotel is the famous Namba shrine. Not very near the station but walkable enough. Good breakfast provided.

I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay at this hotel. The location is excellent—very convenient for getting around and close to train stations. The room was clean and well-kept, which I really appreciated. The complimentary breakfast buffet offered a good selection and was a great way to start the day. The staff were generally helpful. Overall, a good stay. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, well-located hotel with decent amenities and good value for money. This is actually my second time staying at Toyoko Inn— the first was last year in Tokyo. I’ve had a great experience both times, and I’ll definitely choose this hotel again at any of its locations in Japan.

mistakenly booked a smoking room so our room was not smelling very nice. breakfast was served and it was fine. simple and filling. they can store luggage before and after checkin/out so it was convenient. location is not what i expected. places nearby are quiet areas nothing much to do. need to walk like 20 mins to be in the dotonburi area where many are open even after 9. we wanted to eat takoyaki past 9pm and had to walk back far to find an open shop selling takoyaki. we were using a jr pass when we stayed and had to walk a bit to be able to go to a jr station. not very convenient location for us but it was ok for the price we paid. couldve probably been better if i booked a normal non smoking room.

Economy priced hotel, bare minimum but has a free simple breakfast. a bit of a walk from Osaka Namba station. there is a cheap toiletry shop across the road and some F&B nearby. pretty quiet at night. the smoking room was quite smelly and avoid it if you are a non-smoker.
