Is a deposit required to pick up the car?
You will need to pay a deposit in case the vehicle is damaged or stolen during your rental. The deposit fee will be temporarily frozen on the main driver's credit card during the rental period. When the vehicle is returned, the deposit will be refunded within 30-60 days if the vehicle is in good condition and not damaged.
Important reminder: If the main driver's credit card limit is insufficient to pay the deposit, you may not be able to pick up the car, or the staff may insist that you purchase additional insurance. This is the general standard process and practice of all car rental companies.
