Things to do in Bohol

The snorkeling experience in Panglao was pretty good overall, although there were quite a lot of people, the water was a bit cloudy, and there were fewer sardines than we expected. A huge thank you to Alan for taking such good care of us! The photos and videos he took will give us wonderful memories to look back on for years to come. And a very special thank you to Alan for helping me find my GoPro after I accidentally dropped it in the water. My hero, Alan! 🙌 He is definitely my #1 recommended guide. Our tourguide Marlon was really good with his job, knows about the history of Bohol, gave us some trivias &advices to look for shops which are cheaper than other tourist shops. Took picture of us &was very reliable. The trip was very well organized and didn't have experienced lining in que and waiting long. Every destination was smooth &we had a great time.We booked a private tour for 2. I would love to recommend it to couples who wanted to have an exclusive trips to one of Bohol's tourist spots. I would recommend Mil &Mich Travel &Tours transportaion &Sotera ATV for letting us experience a memoriable tour to one of the private hills, our tourguide was funny&detailed. Took alot of insta shots and even sings (Metallica, Bon Jovi, Linkin park) forgot his name. We went to the viewdeck of chocolate hills, tarzier sanctuary, man-made forest, Baclayon church, Blood compact statue and bought some Bohol's native delicacies on our way back. I would highly recommend this trip to other tourist.

This package included lunch, and breakfast was a simple bread and Sprite. I especially loved the barbecue on the boat. I booked this boat specifically after seeing a blogger's barbecue, which saved me the trouble of asking around once I got there. The communication before departure was very smooth, and our guide on the day was excellent. They started grilling the barbecue on the way to Balicasag Island, haha, it smelled so good! My boyfriend and I both love Filipino grilled pork and chicken. There weren't many people on our boat that day, just six of us, so the experience was great. However, sometimes there might be more people, as I've seen larger boats too. We didn't rent a GoPro, but the guide recorded videos and took photos for us for free. These were taken when we went diving again after returning from Balicasag. I can't swim, but I fell in love with snorkeling and even fed the fish. Oh, and we saw many dolphins and lots of sea turtles, as well as sea snakes. The experience was fantastic! Since I love barbecue so much, I spontaneously decided to write a good review. It seems many local tours don't include lunch, so it's a good idea to confirm that in advance. This is for everyone's reference.

what an awesome day! Tyron was a great guide! We decided to do the 4 x 4 ride at chocolate Hills. If that’s your thing you have to do this. It started pouring rain, which made it so much more fun and cooler in the hot weather. Being extra clothes or you can purchase at gift shop as we did. The Loboc lunch cruise was Amazing too ! tarsier viewing was incredible to see thes little amazing primates in the jungle. Great excursion👍

it was a great experience for us. have seen the Dolphins and the best was snorkeling: have seen variety of fish and the only turtle we saw. We have a very good guide while under water taking the go pro photos. Virgin island not impressive coz there is private property which does not allow anyone to go walking in the beach front. The overall experience is best and we enjoyed the tour.

Although coastal conditions were moderate due to the enhanced Southwest Monsoon and the effects of Tropical Storm Domeng, our island-hopping tour was safe and enjoyable. Our heartfelt thanks to our boatmen and guides, Eric and Gabriel, for their kindness, patience, and exceptional assistance to our PWD daughter during boarding and disembarking. We also thank the people of Balicasag Island for their help and support—a true display of Filipino Bayanihan. The return trip to Panglao was challenging due to rough seas, but Eric and Gabriel remained calm, professional, and focused on our safety. Their skill and dedication gave us confidence throughout the journey. They even apologized for our delayed return, though the weather was beyond anyone's control. Seeing dolphins in their natural habitat was a wonderful bonus. The food at Balicasag was excellent, our snorkeling guides captured great memories, and swimming at the Virgin Island sandbar was a highlight. Highly recommended!

The location is easy to find, and I can say the beach here is beautiful. My husband and I truly enjoyed our visit. The food is tasty but pricey, so it’s really up to you whether you’d like to try anything from the menu. All in all, it was a good experience.

lovely and quiet though it was raining so that is perhaps why. the sunset at bamboo walk was spectacular. lovely bar there as well. swimming pool is lovely and large. free jeepney to Alona at 6:30 pm which was super helpful. towels were a bit shabby and thin though despite paying 100 pesos. also, in the shower room, there was no shower gel (empty carton) which was a bit inconvenient. otherwise, pleased with the service and peace and quiet

It was an unforgettable experience. Spending two and a half hours on a paddle boat was incredibly romantic... though it might feel a bit long. My son, who is 6 years old, was on the boat with us and eventually got tired. I, however, absolutely loved it. The staff were also very kind and friendly. The course involves paddle boating to the firefly point, where you stay for 30-40 minutes. Then, you paddle a little further to reach the final destination (and return by truck). Also, you might fall in; more than half of us did!
