Awesome !. We book for 5pm timing , the sky was clear and not too sunny, good experience for my son to know Singapore history during school holiday. We can see jet fighter plane and helicopters pass by a few times . Highly recomended for family with young children and elderly ,staff are friendly too .
Easy redemption via app but just a hassle to scan one QR code per tix instead of 1 QR code for 4 tix. Good experience for the children to know more about Singapore River and take photos of cityscape on board. Boat is clean as well and friendly staff. Took the 7pm timing to have both the Sunset and Night view. A pity the route does not include to the side where GBTB is.
Silently infused into our urban surroundings, we wouldn't naturally take special attention of these murals until this tour - giving them a voice and glimpses into the history of Singapore's Chinatown. Our guide, Rebecca, showed great enthusiasm when explaining these murals to us; and went the extra mile to ensure that the elderly was well taken care of throughout the tour. Kudos to her professionalism! It wrapped up spectacularly with a scenic night viewing on a boat and give Singaporeans further appreciation of how we've come so far to becoming a city state from humble beginnings.
Our family used the Rediscovery Vouchers and took our two elderly grandparents (89 years old) for this tour. Thanks to the helpful staff, our grandparents had minimal problem to board the cruise boat. The cruise along Singapore river brought back many warm memories especially to our grandparents. The highlight of the tour was the good spread of buffet dinner at Tung Lok Signatures.
Tour guide is friendly and provided interesting information like the Read bridge (also called Malacca Bridge) where I used walked over to and fro the boat Quay or stop at the middle of the bridge to take snap shot of the Singapore River. It brings back many good reminiscent of happier times as a young kid. He also shared Sir Stamford Raffles contribution to Singapore, his family(1st n 2nd wife) and sad news of his children who who died at a young age. It is definitely a good tour to refresh history of our own little dot calls Singapore.
As the 7pm slot was full we went for the 8pm slot. we brought along my almost 3yo toddler with us, he enjoyed himself. it was also a gd opportunity for us to admire the beautiful skyline of Singapore. the crew onboard was very nice and offered to take pictures for us. We enjoyed this experience and will recommend it to others :)
