Zoo Negara - About Us Zoo Negara Malaysia is managed by the Malaysian Zoological Society, a non-governmental organization established to create the first local zoo for Malaysians. Zoo Negara was officially opened on 14th November 1963 and has matured into a well-known zoo all around the world. We have a total of over 5137 specimen from 476 species of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish. Zoo Negara covers 110 acres of land which is situated only 5km from the city of Kuala Lumpur. Over the years, the zoo has transformed itself to an open concept zoo with over 90% of its animals being kept in spacious exhibits with landscape befitting its nature. We are working in making sure that the old zoo concept is changed entirely. Zoo Negara - Vision

Everything smooth from start to end. Book 12pm session without knowing the animal show also at that time, so it filled my time ☺️ Due to pandemic, they handle visitors with very well-organized. Gladly every visitor follow the new rules. But as for the animal... they look skinny especially our Tiger. Any than that everything was so fine, if you're tired of walking, you can take tram and relax enjoying the view. It only cost RM8 (for Malaysian). Suitable for bunch of teenagers, solo traveler, family. Have a visit when you come to Malaysia/ when you visit Kuala Lumpur.

Easy to purchase. CHEAPER than walk in. Fast redeem at special counter. Animal all okay la. But some cage so big but the animal is so small so need to play hide and seek. haha No animal show on weekend to maintain social distancing. So if want to watch animal show come on weekdays Come early at 9 so can avoid heat, get nearer parking (got 2 entrance & parking) and can finish by 12.30. Panda center need to que so need more time there. Overall good experience. Last time visit zoo 5 year ago
