I enjoyed the tour so much and was mesmerized by the beauty of sceneries. The food was good and although its a long journey from Hanoi but it was a smooth and safe journey and a relaxing boat ride.My tour guide Tommy his English name (Thong Ha Van Nguyen) was the best! I can give him a 5 star alone for this trip! he was so helpful that even when I was in SAPA he helped me to book my car on the way back to Hanoi International Airport.(actually I owed him for paying my car.He paid to secure my seat.)He is not only good at his job but he is a good person with a good heart. ❤️
Defo need to pay him back 👍🏻
Our Guide Wish (from buffalo tours) is great and is knowledgeable about Hanoi's History. He is friendly and handle our questions really well. The part that we enjoy the most is the boat ride , and Wish did give us a heads up on locals that will try to hard sell us photos (taken during the boat ride) and fruits/drinks along the way that we can choose to ignore. Overall we are happy with the Tour.
The private tour is definitely a great way of enjoying the ride to Hoa Lu in the most comfortable way, with yourself, driver and tour guide. Diep was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide. He is also fun person to be with. We skipped the bicycle ride to the village and I think it was a good decision because we got caught in heavy downpour whilst in the boat (at the end of our boat tour).
Very professional driver and tour guide, helping us have the best experience despite the bad weather (downpour for more than an hr in hoa lu). Our guide, Tom, gave us tips and advice on how to best deal with situations that involve the locals in the area and the ride was as comfortable as can be. Highly recommended for anyone looking to accommodate a more quiet trip for smaller grps. We opted out of the bike trip due to concerns of slipping after the rain and made it back to hanoi by 5pm.
I was really impressed with our tour guide Thanh, from Buffalo Tours. He reminded my friend to take her medication for the sampan ride. During the sampan ride, he made sure that the peddlers do not harass us and at our request, he advise us how much would be the appropriate amount to tip for the sampan rowers - which was much lower than what was advised to us earlier by someone else.
Klook works well and will continue to work well as long as the local agents they work with has the client's welfare at heart.
