We met in front of The Opera House at 8.20 am and departed around 8.35 am. Our tour guide, Henry gave some introduction on famous local food in Hanoi during the journey. The journey to Nanh Binh took around 2-3 hours (including 20-25 min stop for toilet in a shop). We reached the pagoda first and the electric train is a must which is not included in the fare. It costs 120k VND per pax per way and we have to purchase it as it is not possible to walk 3 km under hot sun single way. After that, we went to a restaurant 15 min away for buffet lunch. The variety of food was great and drinks were available for purchase. Henry brought us to bicycle ride which took another 35 min. Awesome experience and nice scenery. Our bicycle had problem with the chain and Henry was kind enough to exchange his with us. Finally, we went for a boat ride in Trang An, which took another 2 hours. The weather was windy cool and the views were magnificent. She passed us an feedback form but I found no question about tips request. She didn’t ask us for any tip at the end but we did gave her some. We headed back to Hanoi around 5.15 pm (another stop in the same shop) and reached the meeting point around 7.30 pm. Overall this was definitely a worth going trip. Recommend it to everyone but do keep in mind to include the electric car fare.

Our tour guide, Kimmy, greeted us with a warm welcomed. He was friendly and knowledgeable, and on top of that he was also very funny which made the tour very engaging. The entire journey was very smooth. We left the pick up location and headed straight towards Ninh Binh. Midway, we made a short snack and toilet stop before continuing our journey to visit the largest Pagoda in Vietnam. At the pagoda, as the weather was really hot, we had to purchase the tickets for the electric car which is not covered here. The guide was there to explain everything to us which made it more interesting. We spent about 1.5h exploring around the Pagoda and it was a good duration for us. The next stop was an hour lunch buffet which was a good introduction to the Vietnamese food. There were a variety of food for us and we enjoyed it very much. After lunch we headed to Trang An for the 2.5h boat trip , it was so hot and humid but the view was amazingly breathtaking. We also visited the Kong Island . Then we headed back and reached Hanoi 30mins early . Worth every penny!!

Great tour n I feel it’s better than halong bay day tour. Lots of walking at Bai Dinh but bus ride provided to the start pt n return at end pt. Bring shade n umbrella during sunny weather. For Trang An, u got on a 2.5hr boat ride when u only stopped at the last leg of the ride. Make sure u clear stomach n bladder be4 u board the ride. Rower won’t ask for tips, unlike halong bay, but u may wana help them in rowing with the spare oars. Drinks sold here are reasonable priced compared to those pit stops during the bus ride from Hanoi. Tour guide, Win, was professional n knowledgeable. Food provided was great but drinks were chargeable. Glad to have joined tis trip! Thanks! :)

The trip has been great. The local operator contacted me 2 days prior to reconfirm via email, while a day prior they contacted me via WhatsApp to reconfirm the pick-up time. On the day itself the tour guide Mr Kimmy arrived at my hotel lobby on time and escort us to our bus. I'm very grateful to have Mr Kimmy as our tour guide, he's very attentive to all the tour member and explained each attraction clearly. He even help me and my husband took a lot of couple pictures. He got perfect English and easy to understand. The trip to the Pagoda took 2-2.5 hours from Hanoi old quarter. After the Pagoda we had lunch around 1 pm and then continue to Boat trip around Kong Island. Afterwards we are back at the bus around 16.30 and they send us back to the hotel. I personally prefer this trip better than Halongbay. The places are so beautiful and it's more fun! Just be careful of the heat as it can be very hot during the boat trip.

Great value for money! The boat trip in Trang An was like a scene out of a fairytale and simply breathtaking. Also included in the tour is a delicious buffet lunch that exceeded my expectations. The pagoda is a compound built by a rich man, and its so fascinating and grand! Very interesting sight, different from the city of Hanoi.

Bai Dinh and Trang An are scenic places, so I totally recommend visiting them if you're planning to go to Hanoi. Please note it may take 2-3 hours to get there, but the bus we rode on was very comfortable. Our guide was also excellent and amusing. I also met some Vietnamese citizens, and they're so nice.
