It’s a must visit! If you are in Madrid then you should see these two cities! This tour is a great way to explore both the cities in a day! Our guide was great, she told us every small details about these two beautiful cities, and yes, wear comfortable shoes there will be lots of walking, dress according to the winds! It’s really windy in Segovia. How to get there, you just need to go to the Ventas station, and wait on the exits of the metro station, the bus will arrive there at 7:30 a.m.

Meet up point should be more precisely mentioned on booking to avoid confusion. Plus point, tour group departed on time and the rest was as scheduled. Guide is knowledgeable but I did miss some points on her stories occasionally when I did not pay enough attention on her accent. These 2 ancient cities are magnificent! Worthy to see both in a day as an exposure. Suggest to do 2 separate tours if you want to see them in a deeper perspective.

Toledo was built in the Roman period. In the Middle Ages, it was the capital of the Kingdom of Castile (Reino de Castilla) from 1088 to 1561. As a 500-year-old historical capital, the complete Old Town is listed by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage. Segovia is 90 kilometres north of the capital, Madrid. The journey by car is about 35 minutes. His name has the meaning of "City of Victory", and it has the most majestic and best-preserved ancient Roman ruins waterway bridge on the Iberian Peninsula. A Gothic cathedral built in Spain and Europe in the late Middle Ages. It was built in the 16th century (1525-1527) to replace the old church destroyed by the commune uprising in 1511. Renaissance architecture was already popular in most parts of Europe at that time! And Segovia Castle is the prototype of Disney's Snow White Castle! https://amigotours.com.es/madrid/full-day-tour-to-toledo-segovia/

Good tour overall. Visited Toledo first then Segovia (went inside Alcazar of Segovia). Tour guide also suggested El Bernardino for lunch which was a great choice. Got the lunch set menu conchinillo and soup, dessert and drinks for just 25eur per head. Hope the description indicated that it was under Amigo Tours so it would be easier to find the bus. The bus parks at the street across Toyota.

I woke up early to take the metro from Puerta De Sol to Las Ventas station. the bus picks up at the opposite of the Toyota showroom. The guide is very friendly and very knowledgable. We reach Toledo around 9am and unfortunately it drizzle a little but that doesnt dampen our spirit. We took a panoramic photo of Toledo at the mountain top and then proceed to drop off area so we can visit Toledo on foot starting from the jews community area. We left Toledo by 11 pm and we reach Segovia about 1.40 pm. We were given 1 hour lunch (on our own) and then visit Segovia on foot, starting from the Aquaduct and ended at the Alcazar palace. Ticket to the palace is included. Overall, I give 10/10 for this trip.

Early morning pick up point. Need to cater for additional time to get to pick up point. There are 2 different travel groups for different language so make sure you get on the right bus. The trip was great and the tour guide recommends a few great restaurants which we enjoyed ourselves. Great day trip from Madrid!
