Fantastic 5.0
It was raining, so unfortunately we couldn't access the outdoor area. We were asked if we'd like to cancel our tickets, but I decided to proceed with the indoor tour, and it was still an incredible experience! We loved it! The view is wonderful!

I was really worried it might rain, but thankfully it didn't rain until evening. The weather was very hot, but perhaps because of that, it wasn't too crowded, which made it easy to enjoy the attractions. Furthermore, I was so happy to watch the highlight of DisneySea, the parade, "Believe! Sea of Dreams," from a great spot on the water. If you go to DisneySea, I highly recommend seeing this, even if you miss everything else.

Fantastic 5.0
We visited teamlab boardless in downtown two years ago and this was our 1st them to visit teamlab planet. It is a great experience and different, with feet in the water in different places at the first section, passed through flowers in Garden section, more excise in Athelets section. Just need to remember that there are three different sections that you need to go through in teamlab planet. We thought the water section wa the only part since we took the bags and wear shoes from the storage at that section, but then found put that there are two more sections that you can wear shoes and carry the backpack. It is a great experience and can't not be mixed, in my opinion.

amazing experience overall. expect to be there for a couple hours. I suggest to just go with the flow and enter the rooms as you go. you’ll be pleasantly surprised with the experience. the tickets I purchased with Klook included gelato, just note that you’ll need to purchase tea. go for it. was amazing.

Reservations for the Tokyo observation deck are not optional, they are mandatory! 😀 It was incredibly convenient, and even though I don't speak the language, I was able to enter easily with just a QR code! However, it would have been even better if the weather had been nice. 🥲 Additionally, I was a bit confused when I booked for four people, but all four tickets were under one person's name. Thank you for kindly clarifying via email that the tickets are issued under the name of the primary booker. Also, for Tokyo Skytree, you must enter at your scheduled time! If you're debating the 450m option due to the price, I personally recommend seeing both the 350m and 450m decks together!

I'm so glad I visited the Harry Potter Studio Tour in Tokyo this time. I bought a ticket for 11:30 AM and was able to enter directly at 11:20 AM. I finally left at 5:30 PM after happily buying souvenirs. As a huge Harry Potter fan, seeing every scene and prop was beautiful and moving. I was traveling alone, and I was able to enjoy all the interactive activities. Except for one not-so-friendly staff member in Diagon Alley, everyone else, like those at Hagrid's Hut, the Dursleys' house, and the restaurant staff, was incredibly kind and polite. They even actively helped me take great photos, for which I'm very grateful! Most areas of the studio had air conditioning, so it was comfortable to explore slowly even in summer. Also, the food at the restaurant and the Frog Cafe was delicious. If you get tired halfway through, I recommend sitting down and resting. This attraction is suitable for both adults and children, and I'd love to come back with friends if I get the chance! I give it a perfect score!

Great experience with klook as you fo not need to register on the puroland website beforehand. Simply show your klook voucher and you are good to go. We arrived 15min prior to opening as long queues even on a Friday can start well before opening time. The queue is daunting but we managed to enter smoothly, scanned the QR code for wifi from one of the ushers inside the complex and then booked the Meet and Greet character sessions without issue. Tip, take a screencap of your character session qrcode in case your connection died like mine did! Also the toilets by Fairytaleland are quite cool!

1. If you go at night, the background (the observatory wall behind the person taking the photo) will reflect a lot in the glass. It's best to find a position and angle where there's minimal reflection. 2. It's definitely prettier at night. Because of this, you might even have to wait in line at spots with the Tokyo Tower in the background. Be aware that some people might inconsiderately take photos for a long time in the same spot. 3. The entrance and exit are different, and you have to walk all the way around. The closer you get to the exit, the less you can see Tokyo Tower, but it's quieter and there are places to lean and take photos, so the atmosphere is better. (However, if you like night views, the scenery around Tokyo Tower is still better.) 4. How to enter: Find the Mori Tower Gallery and take the elevator to the 3rd floor -> Buy tickets at the 3rd-floor ticket office or present your pre-purchased ticket QR code -> Follow the instructions and take the elevator to the 52nd floor in order (scan your QR code to enter).

Booking was easy and there was a discount, which was great! We only went up 150 meters, that was enough for us; I can't handle heights. 😂 This time we went in the morning, so we missed seeing the lights and the night view. The overall atmosphere was good and beautiful. The sky was clear the day we went, and we even saw Mount Fuji! 🗻 Next time, I'll go back to photograph the night view. I've been twice and I still love the classic charm of Tokyo Tower. I love it! But it's a bit of a shame that since it's a tourist attraction, they don't have guides or speak English. It's a pity I couldn't understand.

What to know before visiting Tokyo

What to know about Tokyo

Things to Do in Tokyo City

Shibuya Sky

You can visit Shibuya Sky, a rooftop observation deck at the top of the Shibuya Scramble Square building. It gives you one of the best open-air views in Tokyo, Japan, especially at night when neon lights fill the sky!

Ghibli Museum

The Ghibli Museum in Mitaka brings the world of Studio Ghibli to life. You’ll see art, playful rooms, and short films made only for museum guests. Tickets sell fast, so make sure to book before your Japan trip.

Asakusa

Asakusa is home to Sensoji Temple, one of the most famous spots in Tokyo. You can explore the Nakamise Shopping Street for snacks and souvenirs and enjoy a calm walk through older parts of the city.

Tokyo Tower

Tokyo Tower is a classic symbol of the city, inspired by the Eiffel Tower. You can go up to the viewing floors for a wide look at Tokyo streets and city landmarks. It’s a great stop if you like taking photos and going to parks, cafés, and food spots.

Akihabara

Akihabara is the heart of anime, games, and themed cafés. You can shop for figures, gadgets, or unique souvenirs and visit colorful stores along every corner.

Tokyo Skytree

Tokyo Skytree is one of the tallest towers in the world and a favorite stop for travelers exploring Tokyo Japan. You can ride up to its viewing decks for wide views of the entire city, including the Sumida River and nearby neighborhoods.

Shibuya Crossing

Shibuya Crossing is one of the busiest pedestrian crossings in the world and a must-see spot during your trip. The area is packed with shops, cafés, and photo spots, and it’s just a short walk from Shibuya Station.

Tips before visiting Tokyo

1. Plan your train routes early

Tokyo has many train lines, so it helps to check routes on Google Maps before heading out. Most places sit within walking distance of a station, making your trip smoother. Keep a prepaid card for faster transfers.

Get your Suica card through Klook before you arrive, which saves time at the station. It’s easy to use for trains, buses, and even small shops around Tokyo, Japan.

2. Wear comfortable shoes

You’ll walk a lot when you visit Tokyo, especially in large areas like Shinjuku City and Shibuya. Streets and attractions are close but still require steady walking.

3. Bring cash for small shops

Many places accept cards, but some food stalls and older shops still prefer cash. Markets you'll visit, like Tsukiji Fish Market or small cafés, may not take cards.

4. Visit popular spots early

Places like Tokyo Tower, Asakusa, and Shibuya Sky get busy as the day goes on. Going early helps you enjoy calmer views and shorter lines. This works well if you're a budget traveler who want more time in each spot.

5. Check the weather before your day trip

Tokyo’s weather changes often, especially during spring and summer. If you plan a day trip to Mount Fuji or parks like Yoyogi Park, look at the forecast first. It helps you plan what to wear and what to bring!
