    After two full years of living in this seemingly never-ending pandemic, the world’s “recovery” is almost within our grasp with many countries moving forward and easing travel restrictions. 
    For over two years, we couldn't travel anywhere or anytime, as we wanted to and the way we used to. We’ve missed new sights, sounds, even smells. And most importantly, we’ve missed the happiness we get out of traveling.  
    At Klook, we understand that desire. That’s why, over the last two years, we’ve been hard at work on the next big thing. Something that will help lead a new era of travel and reconnect you to even more joyful moments and experiences. And we’re finally launching it!  
    You probably know us because of that bright orange app, changing any of it would be a risk.
    And still, we decided to take a step forward which led us to a comeback that’s bigger, bolder, and brighter. We can’t wait for you to meet and experience a whole new Klook, so let’s get on with it because there’s a lot to unpack here!

    Everything — icons, illustrations, colours, and our tagline. Plus, we’ve got brand new app features and new experiences for you to try. With the launch of our new brand identity, we’ll be more than just an app or website where you can explore different experiences at different destinations. We’ll be the bridge to guide you so you can experience everything with optimism, joyfulness, and enthusiasm as you look into the different destinations that we have in store for you. We’ll also be your buddy to help you find the kind of traveller you are.

    Introducing our new icon: the “Joysplash.” Coming from the word, joy, itself, this new icon aims to show a splash of different joyful moments and experiences, big or small. Joining our main color, orange, are purple, cyan, and yellow — all of which reflect our dynamic nature, excitement, and optimism.
    "Your world of joy" tagline
    With a new logo comes a new tagline, “Your world of joy.” Booking through Klook will give you access to a world of joy from attractions and tours to local transportation and staycations. We’ve upped our game when it comes to the products ready for you. All you have to do is pick from thousands of experiences from over 1,000 destinations on our app or website.
    Our rebranding is not just about the fresh logo, it’s our commitment to bring joy back to you. A new future of travel that focuses on you and moments that bring you joy! Along with this new brand identity is our expansion to new categories that you’ll love like travel insurance, car rentals, stays, attraction passes, and much more.   
    We have also added fun new features on the Klook app! There will be a personality quiz that you can take to reveal your Joy Character. Plus, we’ve also added more payment options for your convenience. We’re even updating the way you leave reviews by adding sensory keywords like “relaxing,” “exhilarating,” “funny,” or “unexpected.” Like we said, we’re serious about bringing you more moments of joy and this is just the first of many updates as we continue to take our role as your travel buddy to a whole new level.

    So, why the rebrand?

    Despite the tough circumstances brought about by the pandemic, here at Klook, we continue to move forward. We continuously think of ways to improve so that we can provide you with more experiences in different ways and destinations. The rebrand comes at a very pivotal moment in the travel space, ushering in the future of travel with Klook. But more importantly, we’re rebranding because you deserve a more convenient and reliable way to experience moments of joy. 
    This rebrand affirms our commitment to revitalize and re-energize the travel industry that the pandemic has slowed to a halt. A commitment that makes us go back to our brand purpose, “to inspire and enable more moments of joy.”
    The rebrand is a massive milestone for us, but it’s also through innovation that we get to experiment on what’s in and what can be better. The past two years didn’t just challenge us but led us to a path that’s full of hope and optimism to help bring back joy to anyone who wishes to continue exploring the world.

    What does joy mean to you

    Joy is more than just a feeling or an expression. To quote Klook’s CEO and Co-founder, Ethan Lin, “Joy means something different to everyone.” To some, joy can be a word to describe immense happiness. Joy could even be a person. Joy could mean getting a new pet, finally reading that book you bought last month, treating your family to a meal, or as simple as sleeping in on a Sunday. The word joy can be anything you see or feel. It all depends on you. But for us, joy is something that we want to give to you — something that we hope to bring back to people’s lives through experiences.
    We know that because of the pandemic, one of our sources of joy — travelling, was taken away from us. We crave travel because there’s no better feeling than being out there — seeing different places, experiencing different cultures, tasting different types of food, and taking hundreds of photos for keeps. We miss travelling and the happiness it brings. One of our goals for this rebrand is for you to get back into creating your memories and moments of joy.
