    1. SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium

    Sea life au
Sydney may have a number of famous attractions above ground, but there’s also a whole other world to discover under the water. The Sea Life Sydney Aquarium has 14 themed zones, 13,000 marine animals and more than 700 species, including 2 out of only 6 dugongs (marine mammals related to the manatee) in the world.
The different zones provide something for everyone to enjoy. The Day & Night on the Reef zone is the centre’s newest attraction and provides interactive experiences for the whole family – it’s the perfect way to experience the Great Barrier Reef if you don’t have time for the journey during your stay.
Elsewhere, there’s an overview of the historic Jurassic Seas and the hands-on experience of the Discovery Rock Pool.

    2. Illawarra Fly Treetops Walk

    TreeTop Walk
This one is the perfect day trip from Sydney- immerse yourself and the kids in the native rainforest, and catch glimpses of the Pacific Ocean. Go on a self-guided treetop walk where you can take in the scenery and enjoy the fact that you can be freely outdoors again!

    3. Illawarra Fly Zipline Tour

    Zipline Ilawara
Why not fly like a bird among the treetops with an Illawarra zipline tour? This is the highest ziplining tour available in Australia, at a whopping 35 metres above the forest floor.
The outdoor tour itself takes 2.5 hours and you’ll be led by professional guides who can inform you about all of the stunning sights and sounds you’ll experience as you soar from platform to platform high in the treetops.

    4. Australian Reptile Park

    Aus Reptile Park
This park is only 60 minutes from Sydney and Newcastle! It is home to exotic reptiles from Australia, native Australian animals, and also other animals from all over the world. There’s a lot you can do as they have live entertaining shows, behind the scene tours, and unique exhibits featuring creepy crawlies, birds and other mammals.
This is a great activity for families who are looking to have a fun time while learning about Australia's fascinating wildlife.
Tip: Make sure you learn about the park's breeding program for Tasmanian devils at Devil Ark!

    5. Blue Mountains Scenic World

    Scenic World AU
It's just 2 hours from Sydney by car or train, but you’ll feel a million miles away from the city centre. If you have a sense of adventure and want to get away from the beaten track, this is the place to be. Rides and walkways allow you easy access to all of these historic sights, so you can just relax.
If you have a fear of heights you’d love to conquer, then you can take a trip on the steepest passenger railway in the world. The carriages have glass roofs, and these provide you with spectacular views as you scale the 52-degree incline.
If you’d rather relax, then you can take a stroll on the Scenic Walkway in the ancient rainforest or traverse the Scenic Skyway, which is suspended 270 metres above a deep ravine.

    6. Wild Life Sydney Zoo

Rain or shine, Wild Life Sydney is a great destination for kids because it is indoors, and is very easy to get to! Attend informative talks with the kids, do some feeding, and meet kangaroos, wombats, emus, platypuses and even crocodiles.
Tip: You can start your day with a Breakfast Buffet with Koalas- it’s a one of a kind experience!
PS - planning to visit WILD LIFE this March? We have an absolutely great deal on Klook at the moment - WILD LIFE Entry tickets at 50% off (so save $20!)

    7. Featherdale Wildlife Park

    Featherdale AU
If you prefer to be out and about outdoors and don’t mind driving a bit further- (though only a 45 min drive from Sydney!), Featherdale is the zoo for your weekend activity! Have the kids meet indigenous birds, reptiles, marsupials, mammals and of course, iconic Australian creatures such as koala bears, kangaroos, dingos and many more.

    8. Luna Park

Luna Park is a Sydney Icon- its iconic entrance brings back so many fond memories from our childhood!
There’s no doubt that kids would love Luna Park- take them on exhilarating rides like The Wild Mouse and the Hair Raiser, or have a chill day and have a go at the Ferris Wheel or the carousel. Either way, we’re sure it will be a day filled with smiles and laughter for the whole family!

    9. Sydney Seaplanes Highlights Flight

Sydney is considered to have one of the most beautiful harbours in the world- and while we’re spoilt with this view every day, it’s a different experience when you’re flying over it. You’ll take off  Rose Bay, be taken above by a certified pilot, and below you, you’ll see Sydney Harbour unfolding before your eyes- kids will definitely be left in awe and be in for a treat  with  this experience!

    10. Jenolan Caves

    Jenolan Caves AU
You cannot visit the Blue Mountains without exploring the Jenolan Caves! It’s an adventure kids will surely enjoy as you’ll need to squeeze, crawl and climb your way through some old and narrow passageways and in between limestone formations. It’s a must-visit if you’re up for some exciting cave adventure.

Now that we've got the kiddos settled, what about the big kids?
