    Step into the world of the vibrant blue seas and marvel at thousands of different sea creatures from all over the globe at SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium!
    There’s so much in store for you here and planning your visit can be quite taxing but we’ve curated this guide just for you!

    SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium opening hours

    First things first. You have to take note of their opening hours. SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium’s regular opening hours are from 11:00am to 7:00pm on Sunday until Thursday and 11:00am to 8:00pm on Friday and Saturday. However, for January, their schedules vary:

    Safety at SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium

    While we don’t want to spoil the fun, here are some safety tips that you need to know and remember before entering the aquarium:
    • Face masks are highly recommended to be worn inside the facility
    • Follow the signs and monitoring staff to ensure social distancing
    • Make way for enhanced attraction cleaning especially in high-touch areas

    Getting friendly with underwater animals doesn’t always mean diving deep into the ocean just to meet them. SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium has different types of exhibits for you to enjoy and use as a way to observe and interact with all the sea creatures.

    360 Ocean Tunnel

    This exhibit is your way to see everything. Yes, everything under the sea without getting wet! Say hello to big and small fishes, sharks, eels, and many more creatures swimming not just above you, but all around you. If you can, try to spot the star of this entire aquarium — the rescued green sea turtle Chely!

    If you thought you'd only see blue in an aquarium, think again! This Jelly Wall exhibit offers so many different colors to choose from and you get to pick which color will show. Take the opportunity to capture as many photos as you want (No flash please!) with the colorful moon jelly habitat as your backdrop.

    Indian Ocean

    Get a chance to swim with two other celebrities in SEA LIFE Orlando!
    Meet Ted, the turtle who helped develop the Turtle Excluder Device (TED), fishing gears that are necessary for sea turtle conservation since this device addresses interactions between sea turtles and trawl fishing gears so they won’t end up as bycatch.
    And don’t forget Joy, their newest zebra shark that was hatched from an egg from the Association of Zoos and Aquariums’ Species Survival Program!

    Coastal Rockpool

    Calling all the brave ones! This Coastal Rockpool exhibit challenges you to put your hand in a rockpool and pet starfishes and sea anemones. Their texture can be a bit scary to touch but it’s not everyday that you get to be up close with starfishes and sea anemones so surely, this will be an experience that you won’t want to miss!

    Get to know what goes on behind these aquariums with one of SEA LIFE Orlando’s aquarists or come face-to-fin with sharks through a virtual reality experience! 

    Behind-the-Scenes Tour

    This 30-minute experience will give you a glimpse of a day in the life of an aquarist. In this tour, you’ll get to learn all about the animal and aquarium care that SEA LIFE Orlando does daily to keep their sea animals and their habitat healthy and happy!

    Virtual Reality Experience

    If you think you got what it takes to face a shark, then try this VR experience! It’s almost as if you’re really underwater swimming with the sharks and just having the time of your life just like they are. Their VR goggles will take you to the Bahamas so you can come face-to-fin with these apex predators!
