The perks of a local SIM card when travelling cannot be understated. We'd go so far as to say a local SIM will be your local saviour - here are some of the reasons why!

1. Quick access to a map and directions (or even ordering an Uber) will have you back at the hotel in no time at all.

Picture this.

You’re in Tokyo. It’s past 2am, it’s dark, every laneway looks the same.

You realise you may have had a bit too much fun in that Izakaya and you have NO clue how to get back to the hotel. All you want is the warmth of your bed, and to be horizontal stat.

2. Easy way to search for the best restaurants in your area that meet your needs

Perhaps you’re gluten intolerant, or lactose intolerant, or vegan, or carb averse or on a caveman diet. After walking for way too long around Rome (phone indicates over 20,000 steps!!), you’re in need of a quick meal for sustenance and one that ticks the boxes. All you can see is pasta.

If you’re travelling around Europe, this is a great SIM card, as it will work across multiple countries!

3. Easily use Google Translate and properly converse with locals

As a super polite human, do you struggle not being able to properly thank the person that gave you a GREAT cafe recommendation or the person that helped you drag your bag up the stairs of the metro in Paris? (Where are the escalators please!?!)

To use Google Translate is simple- simply enter the phrase and you can graciously thank your helper and restore your status as “super polite human’.

4. Work... from anywhere!

Do you have a ‘work from anywhere’ mentality, but realise the amaaazzzing Songdo Central Park in Seoul doesn’t share your mentality...
