As if 2020 wasn’t already terrifying enough 😱 the guys over at Parque Warner have gone and stepped things up a notch with a whole Halloween makeover! 👻
The annual Madrid fright-fest is running from 3rd October to 2nd November, and will offer visitors (those brave enough to venture in, at least) a wholly unique and original brand of Halloween horrors that will keep the whole family entertained.
    La Llorona: Passage of Terror

Based on the 2019 film, La Llorona, this passage of terror Halloween favourite returns for 2020, and will take horror fans on a 10 minute voyage through winding roads and towering trees, all in near pitch dark!
You’ll be ‘greeted’ by a combination of creepy special effects and live actors who will keep you on your toes throughout as you try to escape the grasps of the ancient legend of La Llorona.
When you hear her cry, you’ll be nearing the end but remember, you’re not out until you’re out, so keep your eyes open and your fingers crossed…
    New Scene: Annabelle Comes Home
Following on from 2019’s ‘The Nun’, this year’s New Scene comes from the modern horror classic ‘Annabelle Comes Home’, where the devilish doll comes into her own as a real nightmare-inducing creation!
The less said about this the better so that it’s kept as a surprise, but combined with elements of The Conjuring, The Enfield Case, Annabelle and Annabelle: Creation, you’re guaranteed to be in for a super spooky experience!

    Freddy Krueger: A New Nightmare
No trip through the history of horror films would be complete without an unwelcome visit from the godfather of scares, and horror fans won’t be able to resist a visit to Freddy Krueger: A New Nightmare.
Your journey will be filled with suspense and terror as you relieve the most memorable moments from this mythical tale, including visiting the boiler room where Freddy lives. To survive this experience you’ll need to learn to tell the difference between what’s real and what’s just a really freaky dream, but rest assured - the tension is 100% real so make sure you come prepared to get scared, Freddy style!
And if after all that, you feel like the kids (or you!) need a rest, you can always take a bit of a break with a visit to Parque Warner’s most acclaimed musical, Delirium!
Featuring music from Metallica, The Goo Goo Dolls, AC/DC and loads more, all sung live by trained performers, you’ll be singing along and forgetting all about the fact that Freddy was just chasing you five minutes earlier!
Not your style? You might fancy taking the family to explore The Animated Forest instead!

The Animated Forest is a custom-made maze where kids (young and old) can discover a fantastic forest and try to dodge scarecrows and mythical creatures as they see if they can break the evil spell that has been cast over the forest by an evil witch.
More thrilling than frightening, this part of Parque Warner, is a very welcome break, especially for some of the younger children.

And finally, to address the biggest scare of them all, let’s look at how Parque Warner has updated its procedures and protocols to help keep everyone safe and healthy during the COVID-19 situation:
    • All visits and tickets are booked in advance
    • The park is operating at a reduced capacity to support social distancing
    • They’ve increased their cleaning and disinfecting procedures
    • Hand sanitiser stations are available throughout the park
    • They’ve focused more on cashless payment options
To make sure you don’t miss out on anything before your visit, make sure you check Parque Warner’s website to confirm the attractions you’re most excited about are running and that you’re booked on in advance so you don’t miss out.

So there you go - your guide to Halloween at Parque Warner Madrid - the only question is, will you be brave enough to book a ticket to terror town?
If not, give Freddy and his mates a really wide berth, and try something a bit more relaxing…
