Find the right timing, and you’ll get a fantastic photo with the mesmerising Dubai skyline as your backdrop!

Enjoy thrilling adventures the Dubai way—with a dash of luxury! If you’re in the mood for exciting escapes, Atlantis, The Palm should be on top of your Dubai travel itinerary. The luxe five-star resort is as exclusive as it gets, aptly nicknamed The Lost Chambers, and most areas are only open to guests. Atlantis takes pride in two of its attractions: Aquaventure, a massive waterpark with some of the world’s largest water slides, and The Lost Chambers Aquarium, which is home to 65,000 marine creatures. Anyone up for a photoshoot under the sea?
How to get here: Take a taxi! There are no public transport options that go straight to Atlantis, The Palm.
5. Expo 2020 Dubai
Did you know travelling around the world is one of the things to do in Dubai? Well, at least until the end of March 2022, that is! Thanks to Expo 2020 Dubai, you won’t have to book separate flight tickets to complete your travel bucket list. With three districts and over 200 country pavilions to explore, you’ll have enough photo opportunities for snaps to fill your travel diary with. If you’re travelling to Dubai beyond March, don’t worry—the Expo site will reuse most of its infrastructure as it transitions to District 2020!
How to get here: You can take the metro since there is a dedicated route and station for Expo 2020!
6. Burj Al Arab
As the epitome of Arabian luxury, Burj Al Arab’s crowning glory is its cutting-edge architectural innovations, from its man-made beach to the expansive infinity pool terrace. This modern five-star hotel is also exclusive to its guests. For that must-have photo of the towering Burj Al Arab behind you, head straight to Jumeirah Public Beach on your next Dubai travel. No need to break the bank because it’s one of the free things you can do in the city!
How to get here: To get to Jumeirah Beach, ride the bus or metro from the Mall of Emirates. To reach Burj Al Arab, a taxi is the way to go.
7. Madinat Jumeirah
Located next to Burj Al Arab, Madinat Jumeirah is a five-star Arabian resort with heaps of luxurious photo backdrops to choose from. Unlike other deluxe hotels, Madinat Jumeirah resembles a traditional Arabian town and has five hotels, a souk, a private beach, and more than 50 dining options. If you’re not staying at one of the hotels, we suggest you take an Abra ride to tour the whole property and get amazing waterfront photos!
How to get here: The most convenient way to reach Madinat Jumeirah is by taxi. You can also take a metro, get off at the Mall of Emirates Metro station, and walk your way to the souk.
8. Palace Downtown
Add some posh vibes to your IG feed with photos at Palace Downtown, another Dubai hotel with a captivating view of Burj Khalifa! The outdoor pool area is accessible even to non-guests, so you can take aesthetic snapshots with the Burj Khalifa in the background. We recommend you visit early in the morning for fewer restrictions and escape the crowds.
How to get here: Taking a cab is one of the easiest ways to reach Palace Downtown. If you’re coming from Dubai Mall or Burj Khalifa, you can stroll all the way to the hotel’s main gate.
9. Wings of Mexico Statue
Besides its dignified hotels and resorts, Dubai also has the coolest installations that deserve a spot on your social media feed. If you’re looking for more free things to do in Dubai, pack your camera and visit the Wings of Mexico Statue near Burj Khalifa. Made by renowned Mexican artist Jorge Marin, this sculpture is easily one of Dubai’s most photographed icons.
How to get here: These iconic wings are located near Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall, so you can just take the Metro Red Line or ride a bus.
10. Dubai Steel Heart
A:
Is it just us, or is that love in the Arabian air? Show your feed some love with awesome photos at the Dubai Steel Heart, which is only a few steps from Dubai Mall! This massive polished steel installation, called Love Me, is made by famed sculptor Richard Hudson and reflects Burj Khalifa in its smooth steel surface.
How to get here: Exit Dubai Mall near the Waterfall Wall to end up in front of the Dubai Steel Heart.

Looking for a new spot to visit in Dubai? Get first access to Dubai Creek Harbour, an up-and-coming Dubai neighbourhood where Dubai Creek Tower will stand. Construction is ongoing in some parts of the commercial hub. Still, you can already visit most areas, especially the waterfront promenade, for the best riverside views of the Dubai skyline. Dubai Creek Harbour is next to Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary, so expect a lot of flamingo installations around.
Klook Tip: Dubai Creek Harbour is different from Dubai Creek, so make sure you search for the exact spot to avoid confusion.
How to get here: You can reach Dubai Creek Harbour via bus or metro! Cabs don’t usually pass by, so it would be better to talk to your cab driver to wait for you before going back to the city.
12. Dubai Frame
Dubai takes another superlative architectural landmark with the Dubai Frame, or the “biggest frame in the world”. Depending on which side you stand from, you’ll get either a framed visual of the modern Dubai skyline or of “old traditional Dubai”. Inside the frame, a museum-slash-gallery by the mezzanine showcases Dubai’s past and future. For the million-dollar shot, take the elevator to the observation deck at the top and capture panoramic views of the city.
How to get here: The Dubai Frame is located at Zabeel Park. You can take the Metro Red Line, get down at Al Jafeeliya Metro Station, and walk towards the park’s Gate 4.
