Before you head over to meet the Melbourne Museum dinosaurs, here are some fast facts about a Triceratops and Horridus that might come in handy:
    1. It's not that difficult to recognise a Triceratops! You'd know one at first glance, thanks to its distinct horns and frills.
    2. The Triceratops was HUGE! It was over two metres tall and eight metres long and weighed between six and 12 tonnes. That's as heavy as seven small cars and as tall as a Melbourne tram!
    3. You might think all dinos lived during the Jurassic period, but Horridus the Triceratops actually roamed the Earth during the Cretaceous period—about 67 million years ago!
    4. Triceratops are herbivores.
    5. Horridus the Triceratops is known as the world's most complete fossil. With 266 bones, it's at 85% completeness. Its skull is also said to be 99% complete.
    6. Horridus' fossil was found near a river in Montana last 2014. It is said that most Triceratops lived on the land where North America is now.
