Train travel in Europe is one of the cheapest and most convenient modes of transportation in the continent, thanks to its well-connected rail networks. You can easily go from London to Paris to Zurich and most major cities—and they’re more environment-friendly than planes! So if you’re to travel around Europe, you’re in luck because you can use its ultra-convenient railway systems.
Here’s the cherry on top: you can also get the Eurail Global Pass, your single ticket to ride multiple trains in Europe to go from country to country. Want to know more about the one pass to rule them all? Check out our Eurail Global Pass guide:

Now that you know this Europe train travel hack, let’s discuss something essential to every traveller: luggage. With the ease with which you can go from city to city in Europe with train travel, day trips are very popular. So you might wonder, “Where do I keep my luggage if I have already checked out of a hotel and am going on a day trip to another city?” The answer is lockers!
One of the many perks of Europe train travel is that many stations have lockers you can rent for your luggage. This way, you can explore the city without having to lug them around tourist spots. They have hourly and daily rates, which makes it convenient if you only want to leave your things for a short period of time!
Here are the train stations you can go to with luggage storage:
