Go Exploring around this Heritage Hotel
Did you know that Goodwood Park Hotel was built back in 1900 for the expatriate German community in Singapore then? It was only in 1929 that it was first transformed into a hotel. And later in 1947, the hotel made history for being the first hotel in Singapore to offer a swimming pool in its premises. Wow.
The iconic tower of Goodwood Park Hotel was also gazetted a National Monument by the National Heritage Board in March 1989.
There are plenty of charming spots all around the hotel with interesting artefacts and exhibits for you to learn more about its history. Don’t forget to check out the arches near the Lobby Lounge and the ballroom for some of the best photo opportunities!
Also, try to find this vintage Fiat Brevetti that dates back to 1906 on display at the Grand Tower. And don't forget to pose for a photo on the iconic red carpet right behind it!
