Whether you want to make a fun dad-joke, or simply show off with your trivia skills, here are some entertaining snippets about Fiji:

    Fiji Is Safe

Fiji is safer than Bali. This high safety rating makes it ideal for family holidays, especially if you have small kids. It has shorter flight times, and almost every resort has a kids’ club with several fantastic sea-related activities.

    It Has a Tropical Climate

Fiji has a tropical climate, with relatively mild winters and sunny summers. The best time to visit Fiji is during summer, which is at the same time as it is in Australia. Look at November to April for some nice scorchers, or else go during May and October if you prefer cooler weather.

There Are Loads of Coral Reefs to Explore

Fiji is known as the soft coral capital of the world. With more than 300 islands, Fiji creates the perfect environment for coral reefs. Some of the most colourful reefs can be seen here.

    Is Fiji Home to Cannibals?

Fiji has quite a colourful past. Today, this island nation is known for its bloody history of cannibalism. Luckily, moms and dads don’t have to worry about the kids being served on a platter.
The practice of cannibalism has wholly died out. Brave explorers will still be able to see traces of Fiji’s dark past in its museums, though.

We hope that Fiji is on top of your family destination spots. Two Fijian words define this pacific nation and will give you a taste of the fun-filled adventures to come - ‘Buma’ and ‘Vuvala’, which mean family and life.
