Where Was Euphoria Filmed? 9 Filming Locations You Can Visit in California

If you've been living under a rock and don't know what Euphoria is, it's an American drama series on HBO that follows a group of high-school students navigating a minefield of drugs, sex, identity, trauma, social media, love and friendship. The series stars Zendeya (as Rue the main character), Jacob Elordi (as Nate Jacobs), Sydney Sweeney (as Cassie Howard), Hunter Schafer (as Jules Vaughn), Dominic Fike (as Elliot) and many more.

Have you been binging both seasons of Euphoria and been wondering where all the grimdark but glittery scenes were filmed?  

We've decided to do a little digging to figure out where Euphoria was filmed. Although there’s not a single distinct city that's visible throughout the episodes, there are some landmarks that might give us some clues to where it was filmed:

East Highland High School, the school that most of the main characters of Euphoria attended, is actually Ulysses S. Grant High, a public high school located in Los Angeles' Valley Glen neighbourhood.

Surprisingly, this high school has served as the setting for a number of teen films and television episodes, including Reno 911, True Blood, and Freaks and Geeks.

The 7/11-style store that Fez runs ​​was filmed at the Alta Dena Dairy in Temple City, California.

The scenes at the local mall, like the one where Nate is stalking Tyler, were filmed in Del Amo Fashion Center which is a three-storey regional shopping mall in Torrance.

The motel scenes involving Cal, Jules then later Nate and Casse were filmed at the Travel Inn in North Hills.

In season 2, episode 2, Rue and Elliot are bowling together. This short scene was filmed at Bowlium Lanes in Montclair.

The convenience/liquor store that Elliot and Jules steal beer from in Season 2, Episode 4 was filmed at Favorite Liquor in Burbank

The rest of Euphoria that wasn't shot at other neighbourhoods or suburban areas of Southern California were all filmed inside Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City
