EPCOT is one of four theme parks within Walt Disney World in Florida, which showcase the art, architecture, entertainment, and cuisine of various countries.

Here you’ll find pavilions dedicated to a country, including Mexico, France, Japan, China, Germany, and more. You can enjoy an immersive global experience right in EPCOT!

Naturally, the park is also a melting pot of global cuisine, making it ideal for food trips. But this is Disney we’re talking about, so a number of its restaurants are themed and offer immersive experiences! Here are the best themed restaurants in EPCOT that you should check out at Walt Disney World:

Take note that to be able to dine at table-service restaurants in the park, you need confirmed dining reservations. You must also indicate the total number of guests prior. You must also present valid admission for EPCOT for each guest aged three (3) and above.

1. Space 220

Location: World Discovery at EPCOT

Space 220 provides a (g)astronomical experience! Considered one of the most immersive restaurants in EPCOT, you’ll feel the out-of-this-world vibe as soon as you lay your eyes on the space station-like structure of the resto. The windows even peer into the galaxy (now that’s a window seat view!)

2. Coral Reef

Location: World Nature at EPCOT

Dining under the sea is also a possibility at Coral Reef, with windows that show a stunning (real!) coral reef maintained by Disney scientists. There are also 60 species of sea life, and if you’re lucky, you might even catch Mickey scuba diving! The restaurant aptly serves the freshest of Floridian seafood such as lobster bisque and sautéed shrimp.

3. Le Cellier Steakhouse

Location: World Showcase at EPCOT

After space and the sea, we head to the land of maple syrup and friendly people: Canada! Le Cellier Steakhouse is a cosy restaurant almost reminiscent of ski lodges that serves various cuts of steak. One of their best steaks is the oh-so juicy Le Cellier filet mignon with AAA Canadian Tenderloin. And since this is Canadian food we’re talking about, you can also get a serving of poutine.

4. Nine Dragons Restaurant

Location: World Showcase at EPCOT

Now we head to the China Pavilion of EPCOT, where you’ll find Nine Dragons Restaurant. If you want your fix of Cantonese, Hunan, Szechuan, Mongolian, and Kiangche-style food, it’s the place to be! The ambience is also regal, with adornments of traditional Chinese lanterns and wood carvings found in palaces.

5. Chefs de France

Location: World Showcase at EPCOT

Get a test of Parisian cuisine at Chefs de France, a cafè reminiscent of the brasserie (informal restaurants) you’ll find in France. Its interior features intricate mosaic flooring and large windows that showcase the promenade for that French Riviera touch. Their French onion soup with gruyere cheese and house-baked baguettes are staples, but since you’re also in Disney World, why not try the ratatouille?

6. Takumi-Tei

Location: World Showcase at EPCOT

At the Japanese pavilion of EPCOT, you’ll find Takumi-Tei (which translates to “house of the artisan”), which serves all your favourites: wagyu beef, sushi, maki, and more. Guests aged 21 and above can also enjoy sake and craft beer. Its ambience is also noteworthy, with its five rooms with elemental themes: water, wood, earth, stone, and washi paper.

7. Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie

Location: World Showcase at EPCOT

Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie is a traditional French bakery that will surely satisfy your sweet tooth and savoury cravings! They serve an array of pastries that are as pleasing to the eyes as they are to the tongue. The mousse au chocolat, macarons, and napoleons are perfect sugar boosts while the baguettes are must-tries if you prefer something more savoury.

8. Biergarten

Location: World Showcase at EPCOT

At Biergarten, which is nestled at the German side of EPCOT, it’s Oktoberfest all year long! Upon entering, you’ll be welcomed by the rich smells of giant pretzels, sausages, schnitzels, and beer (which is served in traditional German lagers.) Oh, and the Polka band with members in lederhosen just makes everything more fun!

9. Garden Grill

Location: World Nature at EPCOT

Big kids and little ones alike will enjoy not only the homey, pastoral food at Garden Grill but also the fun character sightings. Catch Chip, Dale, Mickey, and the rest of their friends as you enjoy your salad made of fresh veggies grown on the property itself. Yes, Walt Disney World is so big it has its own functioning greenhouse that grows its own produce!

10. La Creperie de Paris

Location: World Showcase at EPCOT

La Creperie de Paris is a relatively new food spot on the French side of EPCOT but easily became a favourite among guests. Snack on buckwheat galettes or French cakes that are gluten-friendly and come in several savoury flavours such as chicken, salmon, ham, and veggies. You can also choose from a variety of sweet crepes topped with fruits, creams, chocolate, and more.

11. San Angel Inn Restaurante

Location: World Showcase at EPCOT

Dine in perpetual twilight at San Angel Inn Restaurante, a Mexican restaurant at the base of a Mayan temple reminiscent of old haciendas. You can enjoy their steak, chicken, and fish entrées with their chipotle pepper and tomatillo sauces and avocado-topped tortilla soup on the side. They also serve margaritas and premium tequilas for over-21 guests.

12. La Hacienda de San Angel

Location: World Showcase at EPCOT

Considered the sister of San Angel Inn Restaurante, this waterfront Mexican restaurant will give you a blast of the past with its Old World interior adorned with star lanterns. You can also enjoy traditional Mexican fare such as their house-made corn tortillas paired with fresh salsas. Their array of alcoholic beverages such as handcrafted margaritas, Mexican beer, and other South American wines are perfect for boozy evenings.

13. La Cava del Tequila

Location: World Showcase at EPCOT

Still in the Mexican pavilion is La Cava del Tequila, which embodies the “essence of Mexico” through its expansive menu of drinks. Choose from 200 tequilas along with beers. Mezcals, and high-quality cocktails. Pair them with light snacks such as guac and queso and it’s perfect for a drink with mates.

14. Rose & Crown

Location: World Showcase at EPCOT

At Rose & Crown, a British pub in World Showcase, you’ll get a taste of Jolly ol’ England with their fish and chips and bangers and mash (aka sausages with a side of mashed potatoes.) While you can dine inside, dining on the patio that overlooks World Showcase Lagoon just makes the experience even better.

15. Tutto Italia Ristorante

Location: World Showcase at EPCOT

Tutto Italia Ristorante teleports you to Old World Italy with their patios and murals of ancient Rome indoors (great reminders that you’re in the Italian section of EPCOT!) Take in the ambience as you dig in the handmade pasta and decadent gelatos.

16. Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria

Location: World Showcase at EPCOT

Pizza lovers can’t miss out on dining at Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria, which serves wood-fired pizzas (for that added touch of authenticity!) and dishes that represent the best of Southern Italian cuisine. Aside from the best-selling pizzas, you can also try their risotto balls and lasagna Napoletana, which has rich meaty and savoury flavours.

17. Spice Road Table

Location: World Showcase at EPCOT

For a taste of the Mediterranean in EPCOT, head to Spice Road Table and get your fix of fried calamari, spicy shrimp, and naan spreads. And what’s Mediterranean cuisine without some house-made hummus—and in this restaurant, they serve it with fries for a modern touch! Enjoy your flavourful treats while dining at the waterfront location that completes the Morrocan and Mediterranean ambience.

18. Regal Eagle Smokehouse

At Regal Eagle Smokehouse, you can really immerse yourself in the American backyard barbecue culture. The country house-like structure of the restaurant will make you feel right at home, along with the mouthwatering smoky barbecues that you can pair with craft beers and their famous house-made sauce that adds a splash of flavour.
