First thing to know about Disneyland Paris is that it’s made up of two parks: Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park.
Disneyland Park has the classic features you can expect from a Disney theme park: the captivating castle, lively parades, and enchanting attractions. It has five areas: Adventureland, Fantasyland, Discoveryland, Frontierland, and Main Street, USA.
Walt Disney Studios Park is the newer theme park on the block. With the Front Lot, Production Courtyard, and Toon Studio, it’s the ideal place for kids wanting a fun day out and grown ups who want an immersive film experience.

At the Walt Disney Studios Park, there’s something for everyone. Here’s a taste of what to expect:
    • Kids - The little ones will love feeling like they’ve shrunk down to Buzz and Woody’s size as they ride the Slinky Dog Zigzag Spin
    • Teens - Take them to the RC Racer where they’ll ride the car up and down and back again.
    • Grown ups - If you’re a horror fan, you’ll enjoy The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. You’ll ride a haunted elevator as you explore an abandoned hotel.

Over at Disneyland Park, you can make your childhood dreams come true with the exciting attractions. Check out our picks of some of the best the park has to offer:
    • Kids - There’s a reason why “It’s a Small World” is one of Disneyland Paris’ most famous rides: it’s whimsical, musical, and magical. You’ll travel around the globe as dolls of different nationalities sing a song about world peace!
    • Teens - Look for treasure, avoid obstacles, and explore creepy caves at Adventure Isle. Conquer the North and South sides of the island for the ultimate experience.
    • Grown ups - Embark on an intergalactic adventure and take on the Empire on the Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain ride. Watch as fighters from both sides collide with the iconic Star Wars soundtrack playing in the background.

If you want to see seasonal celebrations and enjoy extended visits, it’s best to visit Disneyland Paris during the summer months and winter holidays. The downside is that there’s a chance that there may be more people visiting.
If you want to avoid big crowds and long queues, plan a trip in the middle of the week anytime from mid-January to mid-May. With less people in the park, you’ll get less waiting time at the queues and more time for rides.
