Universal Studios Hollywood and Orlando are currently closed through April 19, and Universal Studios Japan and Singapore are partially opened with quite a few shows and attractions put on hold due to the coronavirus outbreak. In case you missed it - Super Nintendo World is also set to open in Universal Studios Japan this summer and also in Universal Studios Singapore in the near future! What is Super Nintendo World though?

“Think of Super Nintendo World as a life-size, living video game where you become one of the characters. You’re not just playing the game; you’re living the game, you’re living the adventure,” said Thierry Coup, the Senior Vice President, Chief Creative Officer, Universal Creative, in the global kick-off presentation event held on 14 January 2020.

Universal Studios Japan also dropped the “We Are Born to Play” music video, which is a collaboration between Galantis and Charli XCX. It showcases the activities based on the real and interactive experiences available at Super Nintendo World like hitting the ‘?’ Blocks to gather coins.
