1. Have some of the best satay at Newton Food Centre
If it’s good enough for Nicholas Young, it’s definitely good enough for you! Upon arriving in Singapore, the first place you need to visit is definitely the Newton Food Centre. Fill your bellies with delicious hawker food from the likes of Satay and Char Kway Teow and wash it down with some ice cold Tiger beer!
For true Crazy Rich Asians fans, you’ll know that in the books they actually ended up at Lau Pa Sat instead of Newton Food Centre. If you’re heading to Lau Pa Sat, be sure to Klook yourselves some delicious satay!

2. Chijmes
While you can’t expect what seems like a mini forest along the isles of the church like in Colin and Araminta’s wedding, the Chijmes cathedral is still stunning! The stained glass windows and high arched roofs make it a wedding choice for many.
Right beside Chijmes is the National Gallery where you can pop by to check out what used to be the old Supreme Court of Singapore. Inside the National Gallery houses plenty of exhibits where even the likes of Yayoi Kusama have had their work displayed.

3. Merlion Park
The Merlion is probably one of Singapore’s most iconic statues around. This part fish part lion makes its appearance in the movie and the trailer several times. You can’t say you’ve been to Singapore without visiting this icon on your visit to the Marina Bay Area. Upon walking in, you’ll see an ocean of selfie sticks with tourists all trying to get the million dollar shot of the Merlion spitting water into their mouths.

4. Esplanade Park
Right after their breakup, Rachel meets Nicholas for the first time at Esplanade Park, more specifically at Queen Elizabeth Walk near the Lim Bo Seng memorial. Just a stone’s throw away is the Esplanade Theatres By The Bay, you surely can’t miss the eye-catching sight of the 2 durian shaped buildings. Be sure to head to the rooftop for an aerial view of the Marina Bay area.

5. Marina Bay Sands
The Marina Bay Sands Skypark is one of the most filming locations of the movie! Nicholas and Rachel celebrate their engagement at the Ce La Vi restaurant located on the skypark with the likes of fireworks and synchronized swimmers. While you won’t get all that spectacle, you can expect stunning panoramic views of the Marina Bay area. We’d suggest coming near sunset for a beautiful gradient backdrop to your photos.

While you’re at Marina Bay Sands, you wouldn’t want to miss a visit to the ArtScience Museum! With Instagram worthy installations like Future World, nothing screams crazy rich asian like taking a stroll around sophisticated art galleries. 6. Gardens by the Bay
You’ll be interested to know that you can actually hold a lavish wedding after party at Gardens by the Bay like Collin and Araminta! Though that probably won’t happen for most of us, we can still enjoy a free stroll amongst the Supertrees! Be sure to come at 7.45pm or 8.45pm and catch the Supertrees light up during the Garden Rhapsody light and sound performance.
If you’d like to be right in the middle of the action, be sure to get your tickets to the OCBC Skyway and you’ll be able to walk along the 128 metre long walkway.
Before that, you should also drop by the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest for a visit! The Cloud Forest is home to a stunning indoor waterfall while the Flower Dome is a massive greenhouse, in fact the largest in the world, with an amazing variety of flora and fauna. 7. Humpback at Bukit Pasoh

8. Ann Siang Hill
The game changing Mahjong scene was shot along Ann Siang Hill. While the actual mahjong parlour is located in Malaysia, you can still channel your inner Eleanor Young and strut down the streets of Ann Siang Hill like a boss. The colorful shophouses now house plenty of cafes, local designers and bars. They also act as the perfect backdrop for your OOTDs.
9. Sentosa
This small island was featured multiple times throughout the movie. Collin stays at the luxurious Sentosa Cove, one of the most expensive real estates in Singapore, while Peik Lin invited Rachel to a spa on the island. Sentosa is one of Singapore’s most popular destinations and for good reason!
