What to expect
Start the day walking around kangaroos & looking for koalas, before making our way up to the rainforest to walk around a bunch of beautiful waterfalls and picturesque landscapes. This experience is great for anyone that wants to witness the beauty of nature with an adventure surrounded by waterfalls and ancient flora of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia. Explore subtropical, warm & cool temperate rainforest types and experience a diversity of natural vegetation. Only a small level of fitness is required, itinerary can be changed to include more or less walking. Door-to-door pick-up included from central Gold Coast hotel/airbnb.

Peter has been a great guide. He was kind, considerate and knowledgeable. We had an Italian couple who cannot speak English very well, he was so patient and translated everything in Italian via App whenever he explained something. He has planned a great itinerary, rich and special. He brought us not only to the popular sites where big agencies go, but also less touristic but beautiful treks. A lot of times, we were at very beautiful lookoutsbobly by ourselves. When we were trying spotting koalas, he ran around and tried to find one and he did! This has been so far the best tour I have had in Australia. If I had more days in Gold Coast, I would book other tours with him as well for glow worms.
They came to pick us up on time. They were very considerate and made sure the car was reclining properly, and they would control the air conditioning if we asked them. We looked around a few places, but the tour said we could swim, so it would have been nice if they had explained to us again when we got off, such as bringing a towel here. It may have been there, but I was not fluent in English, so I asked them and realized, so please be careful when joining this tour. They were knowledgeable about plants and animals and explained them very carefully, but it is difficult to understand if you do not understand English very well. Swimming in the waterfall was a very good experience, but we went in the summer, and it was quite cold, so there were not many people on the tour. Lunch was a homemade lunch made by the guide. It was a good experience to eat the food that Australians usually eat. It seems that the koalas and kangaroos are half-fed, so they are not in the wild, but you can definitely see them, so it is perfect for those who are short on time. Also, we walked quite a bit on mountain paths. This tour ends around 5 o'clock. It is a full day.
