Mount Batur Sunrise Jeep Tour & Trekking with Optional Photographer

My travel companion couldn't make it, so I rebooked for one person (private), requested Crayon Shin-chan pickup/drop-off, a jeep tour, and an Instagrammable cafe visit. (They also took me to Black Lava and offered to take me to a coffee farm, but I was tired and chose to head back at the end, haha.) This was the most affordable option for a solo traveler, and the option selection was very clear. I found it suddenly the day before after searching for a week! - One driver for hotel pickup/drop-off + cafe tour (Mangku Yuli) - One driver for the Batur sunrise jeep tour + Black Lava (Maruta) The itinerary was carried out by these two drivers working as a team. I didn't add a separate photography option, but the drivers' photography skills are top-notch. And they are incredibly dedicated! 🥹Maruta, the jeep tour driver, took so many great photos with his iPhone – of the starry night, during and after sunrise, and at Black Lava (black volcanic rock). I almost felt bad for how much he took! At the end, I almost cried; he kept taking time-lapse videos of me with my phone. 🥹 This person has an incredibly strong professional mindset. (It reminded me of my own professional attitude during the trip.) 🧢Mangku Yuli, the jeep driver, sent a WhatsApp message the day before, which was reassuring, and he was waiting before the scheduled time. He picked me up precisely on time in the early morning, transferred me to the jeep, and after the jeep tour, he safely dropped me off at my accommodation after taking photos at Akasa Cafe! 👍🏼 He drove for over 4 hours round trip. ㅠㅠ I booked this for just over 100,000 won. I feel like I should have paid more for such a wonderful, gift-like landscape, memorable photos, and a great experience! 😇

Incredible Mt. Batur Jeep Tour Our family jeep tour to Mt. Batur was an absolute highlight of our trip, and we owe a massive thank you to our guide, Colo! The ride itself was thrilling and the views were spectacular, but Colo’s photography skills are truly unmatched. Getting two teenagers to pose for family pictures early in the morning isn't always easy, but Colo made it fun and knew exactly how to capture the perfect lighting and angles against the sunrise and the mountain landscape. We are leaving with the most stunning family photos we've ever had. If you're booking this trip, request for Colo, you won't regret it!

Amazing Mount Batur experience! We had such a wonderful experience on our Mount Batur sunrise jeep tour! Ami accommodated is well for our transport and Coffee tour. Komang was our Jeep driver/guide and was absolutely amazing and really went above and beyond to look after us throughout the tour. One of the things we appreciated most was how attentive he was without us even having to ask. He helped us take SO many photos and knew exactly where and how to take them, which gave us so many beautiful memories from the experience. He also made sure we had hot drinks and kept checking that we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. He was friendly, accommodating and genuinely made the whole experience feel easy and enjoyable. It’s the little extra touches and effort that really made a difference for us. The sunrise and scenery were beautiful, but having such a thoughtful guide made the experience even better. the pick up was on point , we went to their base camp and was served tea. then we took the jeep to go up to mount Batur. Recommended to go up early to get a higher spot on the mountain. it is cold in this region, so wear long sleeves/long pants and we were able to rent a blanket at the basecamp which was a LIFESAVER. we also got a good simple breakfast.Our Jeep guide, Jata was so patient with all of our photo request and knows how to capture the view into the photo! thank you! would recommend this tour to anyone interested!

Wow... this is truly a once-in-a-lifetime view. I was worried about the rain before coming, but we saw so many stars, and it was truly a spectacular sight! I love it so much! Our photographer, Komang, was incredibly kind to us, and if my friends come to visit, I'd definitely recommend this tour and Komang. He took really, really great photos for us, and we made so many memories. The price was much better than other places, and he was such a good driver, constantly checking to make sure we were comfortable. I highly recommend it! 👍

Watching the sunrise over the volcano was truly magical. Our driver‑guide, Ngurah, was fantastic—punctual, safe, and full of local knowledge. He took us to the best viewpoint and even acted as our personal photographer, capturing stunning shots with perfect lighting. His friendly manner and patience made the experience even more memorable.
