Mont Saint-Michel was absolutely magical, and Klook made the whole experience even better

Easy to book, made the booking, same day, while on the way to Mont Saint Michel. Majestic place to visit. You can take the free shuttle from the parking area (20 mins) or walk for 35 mins to reach the island. Prepare for an uphill walk/ trek to reach the place.

Spend at least 6 hours for the whole experience of the place aside from the Abbey. Best would be to stay overnight in one of the hotels and go early next morning to the Abbey before the tourist busses arrive

Pre-purchase ticket has a separate queue with much less people. Arrived at entrance in morning and saw notice about sold out until afternoon. Saw KLOOK has availability for 11am slot and grabbed it

The entrance to the monastery is located at the top of a breathless climb. As a 56-year-old who doesn't exercise much, I struggled to get there, but I made it. Presenting the ticket was smooth. The monastery was very impressive, and its structure made me feel the history of the monastery, fortress, and prison, which was very interesting. I enjoyed the tides during my 7-hour stay. I was impressed by the strong ebb tide. It's not difficult to get there by TGV and bus, so I highly recommend traveling there on your own.

We went there on another optional tour, but the tickets to Crook Monastery were cheap, so we used it this time. My grandson was 13 years old, so he entered for free. When we arrived, there was a long line at the ticket counter, but we were able to enter easily. We looked around freely, and when we came out, there was a long line even for people with tickets. Maybe we went at a good time. I recommend going early.

Enjoyed walking around, but prepared to spend an hour to walk through Abbey. Also prepared steep slope walk and walk from the bottom of the hill through restaurants and shops before getting to the abbey entrance. restaurants are packed with people.

I went there for a day trip and enjoyed it! The view of the island from the front was spectacular. There was a lot to see inside the monastery, and I was surprised by the large main space. There were also many souvenir shops and restaurants. However, there were quite a lot of stairs and steep slopes, so it was tiring.
