Nagoya Shirakawa-go Full-Day UNESCO Site Tour

Our guide was Mandarin speaking and he should have covered some housekeeping rules on the bus eg clear your trash, keep your volumes low if you need to chat so as not to disturb the rest. This was not covered and we had many passengers who spoke loudly throughout the whole day - very distracting and inconsiderate. Driver did not provide plastic bags for us to dispose of our trash and bus smelt of cigarette smoke. Small improvements to above could help to enhance a good passenger experience. Overall experience at Shirakawa-go Gassho Village is great and worth to visit .

There is plenty of time for free activities, and the tour guide’s explanations in the car are also very detailed. This itinerary is a good choice for tourists who do not have a driver’s license and cannot drive by themselves.

Worth to visit both Takayama Old Town and Shiragawa-go. Try the Hida Beef at Takayama and Award winning pudding at 白川郷. Travelling took up half the time. Would be great to have more time at both places
