What to expect
Most people call these All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) “beach buggies,” but as the name suggests, they are designed for all terrains. These lightweight off-road vehicles are primarily used on beaches, deserts, and other rough terrains, featuring a simple, lightweight, open body structure, a high-torque engine, and large off-road tires. They were later modified for use on sand dunes, becoming the beach buggies we know today, and are now widely used for leisure and recreation.
