Nantou Xitou Forest Recreation Area Day Tour - Depart from Taichung

The arrangements were very well done. The driver was on time and the hospitality was warm. It made for a very memorable trip to Xitou. Highly recommended for anyone planning a trip to Xitou. I would definitely go again next time.

The sights and climate are great, and the buffet at Fuhua for lunch is also delicious. It's well worth it.

It was a cool tour. Although it was mainly in Chinese despite booking an English tour. Also I wish we could of spend majority of the time in the Monster Village. The cool places were the bamboo forest, Xitou and the bridge area. The other hikes were alright and I could have gone without the temple at the end. We also got stuck in traffic for an hour but that could have been due to the holiday.

4 people (excluding the driver) were crowded into a small passenger car, which was very uncomfortable. The driver said that the tour did not include a tour guide, and the driver was only responsible for driving, leaving everyone behind. We planned our itinerary in a hurry and couldn't finish Xitou in 1.5 hours. In the end, I left almost an hour for the Mochi Restaurant (it only takes 5 minutes to complete the walk).
