What to expect
This is a guided tour to explore the Ueno and Yanaka area of Tokyo, a nostalgic side of the city. Pick up the customers in the hotel lobby, then travel to the Yanaka area via public transportation, such as the JR or Metro lines. Visit Nezu shrine, famous for the red torii gates lining up on the steps and azalea in early summer. Stroll on in the Yanaka Ginza, filled with local shops. Cafes and restaurants. Get photoshoots done on the Yuyake Dandan steps there too! You can enjoy local sweets and snacks as well. Walk down to Kanei-Ji Temple and Ueno Park(Zoo and museums) after sightseeing in the Yanaka area. The tour will end at Ueno stations, or you can visit Zoo or museum yourself if you wish! A lot of tasting of local sweets and cheap eats during this tour!
