So convenient! station for purchase and recharge are accessible from train stations. Love the ability to customise the card as well.
I used esim for the first time, and it was easy to set up and connect quickly! You can also charge the Namane card with a credit card from the app, so you don't need to have a kiosk nearby.
Loved that I can customize the card with whatever picture is in my photos. It was great to save on international transactions and use it in cafes and stores. The internet was also stable and reliable. The overall experience is great.
It works well. No need to remove your actual sim. I was not able to use the namame card though

Machines to top up can be found in some continence store. really nice to be able to customise the card. eSIM card is easy to install and fast 4G.
Its worth the price! Most places offer free wifi but getting an esim is highly recommended. Easy to access machine at the airport for the namane card and no issues were encountered. plus you can design your own card! how cool is that?!

NAMANE CARD

  • Design your card with your favorite K-pop idol or pictures of your trip.
  • You can check your card balance on the NAMANE card app in real-time.
  • There is no limit on who can use the card, so foreigners and minors can also use it!
  • You can use the card for both transportation services and offline purchases.

LG U+ eSIM (Unlimited data)

  • This is a Data-only eSIM. Calls, texts or other services will not be possible.
  • The usage period will be counted from the moment you first use the data in South Korea.
  • eSIM is same as the SIM card but do not need to remove the original SIM that you are using in your country. Simply download the data package by scanning a QR code.

NAMANE card

1. I have loaded my card, but when I get on the bus and subway, it says there is no balance.

  • You can use the Pay Balance by plugging in the IC chip at the offline store to reload your Transit Balance. When you taking public transportation, you can use the Transit Balance by tagging NFC. 2. Is there a stored value limit?
  • The Pay Balance and Transit Balance of the card are both 500,000 KRW. So, that means you may top up each Balance to 500,000 KRW maximum. 3. What is the expiry date after purchasing QR code through Klook?
  • Please issue a physical customized card (QR) within 5 years upon purchase from Klook. 4. What kind of company is Namane Card? Can you trust the company?
  • I-Aurora Co. Ltd, which sells Namane Card, is an electronic financial business registered with the “Prepaid Electronic Payment Method Issuance and Management Business” and issues and manages prepaid cards under the management of the Financial Supervisory Service. Prepaid payments deposited by customers will be disclosed on the website in accordance with the Financial Supervisory Service’s User Fund Protection Guidelines.
