Kenting SUP & Snorkeling Experience (5min from the sea)

Wow, we booked this for our last day in Kenting and it really didn’t disappoint. Noah and his wife were friendly and super helpful, as the tides were different on one side Noah took is to this lovley bay, he showed us how to paddle very safely and safely conscious. After our SUP we snorkelled and OMG we saw a huge turtle an amazing experience. Noah had a cold flask of coffee or tea and a peanut butter sandwich for us in the middle of the Ocean! I can’t recommend them enough it’s been a highlight of our trip

I was a little worried because there were no Korean reviews, so I went alone. First of all, they spoke English perfectly and were incredibly kind. They even offered to retrieve my phone if I dropped it, and explained everything in detail from start to finish! Instructor Yuki checked everything related to safety one by one, which made the experience really enjoyable. I was so grateful for the photos, 1:1 instruction, and care provided for this price. Usually, the snorkeling I've experienced was just being handed goggles and told to go play, but here, if you swallowed water, the instructor would ask if you were okay and even explain each fish. If you're Korean, just book here, no questions asked. Highly recommended!!

This is our second year coming to "5mins from the Sea" for diving, and it's absolutely fantastic. Their passion for diving is evident; they explain marine life to us underwater and take excellent care of us. We saw beautiful coral and were lucky enough to spot sea turtles. A big thank you to Zhi Ge for taking so many wonderful photos for us, and thanks to 5mins from the Sea!

The facilities are well-maintained, and the instructors are patient and friendly. They teach attentively and constantly monitor the guests' condition and safety. Highly recommend trying SUP here. I was also very lucky to see three sea turtles this time.

The entire experience was great. The two instructors were professional and very welcoming. They took us to spots where we could see different marine life and introduced us to the information about Houbihu. The whole process was very smooth, and afterward, they arranged showers and rinsing areas for us. They even recommended a delicious seafood restaurant! If I have the chance again, I'll definitely participate in another activity with "5mins to the sea". Highly recommended!

First time snorkeling, at first a bit nervous, but coach Orange Orange patiently taught me some net diving techniques 👍🏻 and a blister caught actually not afraid at all, out of the sea to see the underwater world really wowed, and very lucky to see the sea turtle ☺️🤩

This was an absolutely amazing experience! We departed promptly at 5:30 AM for our SUP lesson. Our instructor, Xiao An, was incredibly patient (and very funny), so we picked it up quickly! We even went to a secret spot to see the whole of Kenting, complete with perfectly timed breakfast toast and unsweetened barley tea! During the last hour, we went snorkeling, but unfortunately, the visibility wasn't great due to the weather. However, we still encountered sea turtles and all sorts of beautiful fish and marine life. Thanks to the instructors for guiding us. We'll be back to learn surfing from you next time!

Considering the gear and photos, this price is a great value! While the equipment and facilities are a bit dated, the team makes up for it in many ways. They provide a careful explanation before getting in the water, help you descend slowly, and frequently check on our condition throughout the process. The photos aren't high quality, but they're more than adequate as keepsakes.

The coach was very professional, and the pre-training and route explanations were very detailed. Throughout the process, they continuously took photos for everyone. They also called everyone's attention to sea turtles swimming by and unique corals. The entire experience was a lot of fun! It's a shame the weather wasn't great that day, and the seawater was a bit murky, which was the only minor drawback. I look forward to visiting again next time.
