Pottery throwing experience class

• Couples, parents and children, holiday gifts, birthday gifts, activities Throwing pottery may seem simple, but it is difficult for busy urban people Calm down and enjoy quiet time by making pottery Practice controlling and listening to your body, and make a unique vessel by yourself

Course content:

• Basic throwing skills
• Use of turntable
• Including opening holes, expanding the bottom, pulling and shaping
• The course time is 1 hour (instructor's explanation and demonstration and students throwing pottery)
• Students create objects by themselves (cups, bowls, plates, bottles, vases and other daily utensils)
• You can prepare pictures before the class and discuss the style and form of the utensils you want to make with the instructor, and the teacher will guide you to complete it on the day of the class.
• People of any age who have no experience in making pottery are welcome to participate

Note:

• After two firings, the utensils or tableware that can be used for daily use are completed. It is not available on the same day.
• If you need to glaze by yourself (outer color), you need to add another class, the price is 229HKD/person
• Note: Before glazing, you need to bisque fire once, it will take about 4 weeks to arrange a time for the class
• If you don’t need to glaze by yourself, you can choose the color and let the instructor glaze.
• The course includes all equipment, materials and kiln fees.
• Free engraving and date on the bottom of the cup.
• Adding cup handles will cost +50 labor fee.
• If you need to add clay or other needs, you need to negotiate with the instructor via Whatsapp

Finished product: 1 piece per person per class, containing 400g of white clay, 1 unglazed firing and 1 glazed firing. The instructor will glaze the work (choose your own glaze color).

• Basic throwing techniques

• Including opening holes, expanding the bottom, pulling up and shaping
• Course duration is 1 hour (instructor explanation and demonstration and students throwing)
• Students create objects on their own (cups, bowls, plates, bottles, vases and other daily utensils)
• You can prepare pictures before class to discuss the style and form of the objects you want to make with the instructor, and the teacher will guide you to complete them on the day of class.
• Welcome anyone of any age who has no experience in pottery
