What to expect
Discover new cultures and traditions as you explore Inle Lake, the second largest lake in Myanmar, with this guided day tour! Begin the day with a pickup at your hotel in Nyaung Shwe City, then take a private boat ride to Inle Lake, home of the Intha people. Visit the Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the most highly revered monastery in the area, and marvel at the five ancient images of Buddha completely covered in gold leaf. You'll then make your way to Nga Phe Chaung Monastery, built on stilts around 200 years ago, where you can have fun watching trained cats jump through hoops! Take a quick break for lunch, at your own expense, and savor the flavors of the local cuisine as you observe the daily lives of the Intha people and watch their unique method of rowing with their legs. Once lunch is over, you'll visit the floating gardens, built from strips of water hyacinth and mud from the lake bed. Admire the variety of crops on these unique farms, including tomatoes, cucumbers and gourds, right before you head back to your hotel.

We had a great day visiting Inle Lake on a boat and had a private tour with the very nice guide. They picked us up at our hotel on time and dropped us back at the end of the day. We visited floating market where we did some nice shopping and discovered the local life of the silver jewel maker, weaving of the traditional longyi, cigar making and took pictures with a long neck lady and fisherman. We visited some monasteries and had lunch at an excellent local restaurant. I recommend this tour to anyone who is visiting Inle Lake! Everything went smoothly and we learned a lot! Amazing experience! Our guide Thet was exceptional. She met us at our hotel on time. We were staying at Sofitel and she got there by the boat! Thet explained everything so well. We learnt so much about Shan State from her and also about Burmese culture. She explained the procedure of weaving, parasol making, cigar making, silver jewelry making etc. It was really nice to have someone who could explain everything in English. Burmese people are very friendly. Thet took us to a good restaurant and explained my vegetarian requirement to her. I had the best Shan noodles in that restaurant! After the tour she even dropped us to the town from where we had a night bus back to Yangon. We had a few hours to kill so we requested her to take us to the local market. She took us there! She was very helpful throughout. LM travel was the tour operator and I would definitely recommend them. Clearly, the whole experience was nothing less than perfect for us! We had to pay for 3 people although we were just 2 of us. That is how the voucher is on Klook. If it could be worked out for 2 people at a slightly lesser cost, it could be helpful for budget travellers.

guide was really smart, knowledgeable. his name was Dewei and I highly recommend hom. I highly recommend this package is if you are a group of 3, but it is too expensive for group of 2. FYI you can rent a boat for whole day at 25K to 30K kyat, no guide.

The guide arrived at the hotel on time to pick up and drop off. Every attraction has a detailed introduction to the boatman. The smile is great. Every attraction has a tight shore. Let's get on and off safely. The boat caught the seaweed shortly after the journey. We were exposed to the sun for 15 minutes Waiting for the boatman to repair it. The restaurant introduced by the guide is very tasty and the price is reasonable

Our tour guide Myint Swe is very friendly and we could communicate well in English. His explanation of the tour is very clear. He knew that we had to take overnight bus from Inle lake to Yangon, he offered us to his house for a shower after the tour and even provide us with some coffee and snacks 😊
