There are three buildings to visit in the park, including Wenchang Temple, the former residence of Huang Zuan-Xu, Yilan's first successful candidate in the imperial examination, and Guangxiao Hall. Each has its own characteristics and is a representative of the local art and culture. Wenchang Temple is regarded by locals as a sanctuary for literati because the Five Wenchang Gods enshrined there have long protected scholars. In addition, the hall also enshrines the founders of opera and craft masters, who are of utmost importance to the inheritance of traditional Yilan art. In addition to the above three buildings, there are many attractions to visit in the park.

On the Truyee Avenue, a wide variety of featured handicraft vendors will dazzle you, and there are wonderful live performances in the square. If you are tired from walking, you may want to go to the ferry pier to take a boat trip and enjoy the beautiful scenery. You can also visit Guangxiao Hall and the former residence of Huang Zuan-Xu to learn about Yilan family traditions, birth rituals, and folk culture. In the park, you can even participate in DIY hand-crafting courses to experience making various handicrafts, or participate in live parade activities to exorcise evil and bring good luck home.
