Did not manage to to here as the museum is very far away from the city.... PLEASE TAKE NOTE THAT!!
strongly recommended to visit this place with a guide to really appreciate the 6000 year old history of this place else u would just stroll through a bunch of ruins. u can see the burial sites of children n adults (with real skeletons still half buried). ticket redemption was a breeze and super convenient.
Have time to look at the site, the visitors are not very easy, one hour is feasible, but the closing time is 5:30 pm.
We learned many knowledge. My son was happy to go there.
Museum area is very large, easy to buy tickets are ~
Be sure to have a guide to explain it more interesting! Learn about human life and evolution 6000 years ago
Very suitable for children with a visit, you can learn a lot of historical knowledge.

China has a long and rich history, but many sites center mainly around its development throughout its dynasties. This archaeological site and museum, the Banpo Museum, differs from the others by giving light to the Neolothic, prehistoric life that went on in what we know as China today. Banpo, in its prehistoric times, was a Neolithic matriarchal culture, which created pottery and textiles, and instruments for fishing. Remnants and relics of this ancient culture can be found being unearthed in the Banpo site itself or displayed in the museum, where visitors are able to learn more about them. You will be able to visit the Exhibition Halls and the Site Hall with this ticket, and you’ll see the old relics either still laid by the side of the pits, or on pedestals in exhibition. Everything from chisels, stone and pottery knives, and other similar tools will teach you how these prehistoric people of China lived their everyday lives.
