people started queuing at 6.15pm for 7pm show. suggest you combine this for a visit to west making road as it is near the mrt station (7-10mins walk). very lovely neighborhood . the building is fully air conditioned so it was comfortable going up and down the stairs.
“Sleep No More” Shanghai is a truly unforgettable and one-of-a-kind immersive theatre experience. To fully enjoy it, here are some tips: your Didi or taxi may not be able to stop right at the entrance—get dropped off at St. Regis lobby across the street and walk over. Although entry time suggests arriving 30 minutes early, many guests show up much earlier to get better positions. Start your evening at the bar with a non-alcoholic drink (best to avoid alcohol—you’ll be standing and walking for 3+ hours). No phones allowed inside. Read up on the story if you want, or just follow one character for an hour at a time to see their arc unfold.
#Immersive #Experience #Show #Convenience Be sure to book Sleep No More Shanghai on Klook! It's very convenient and user-friendly. Arriving 30 minutes in advance is enough time to enter without having to wait. I've seen Sleep No More in Korea about twice, and I booked the Shanghai version because I was curious about it since I was planning a trip to Shanghai. First of all, the space is so different from the Korean version that it felt like watching a completely different show. The McKinnon Hotel in Shanghai has lower ceilings and is much more maze-like. It was much darker than the Korean McKinnon, and there were hidden stories, so even though I had seen the show in Korea, it felt completely different. You can leave your luggage in the lockers at the front, and be sure to check out the signature drinks you can order at the bar! It was a fulfilling and happy experience, and I plan to book with Klook again in the future!
Apparently, the drama is a combination of 蝴蝶梦, Macbeth and Rebecca. Would recommend to look at these three in depth before coming for the drama as it would be more understandable and engaging this way. The residents were great. Though it’s a bit expensive, but woah, I would come again definitely when I’m in town next time.
I always thought I was buying tickets for the first round at 7pm, but when I looked carefully, klook only sold tickets for the second round at 7:20pm and the final round😆 It’s a pity, otherwise it is highly recommended that you start entering at 7pm in the first round By entering, you can play three rounds in total. The later you enter, the fewer games you will play. Still a great experience though. 👍🏻
This is my second time experiencing Sleep No More, catching it before it closes. Since it's a re-run, this time I just followed whichever characters caught my eye. I was so lucky to see the "Three Witches' Sacrifice," and after the second long table scene, I serendipitously ended up following the King, who pulled me into a 1-on-1 room experience—so fortunate! I originally wanted to follow the Male Witch because he has such an amazing physique. During the "Three Witches' Sacrifice," the split-second visual impact was incredibly sensual. Oh, and the bald witch is also very captivating; it's as if she truly possesses witchcraft, and I couldn't take my eyes off her.
Sleepless all night, no more. A stage play that is not just a general sitting and watching, but you have to run after the actors in a 5-story building. The performance has no dialogue, all nationalities can watch and understand through the characters' facial expressions and emotions. (Recommended to book before the show closes in Shanghai)
It was a performance I had been looking forward to, but unfortunately, on the day of the reservation, my physical condition was not good, so I hesitated a lot about whether to go or not. However, I went to the concert hall because I didn't want to have any regrets, and it was an excellent choice. I thought I went diligently for three hours without a break, but what I saw was only the tip of the iceberg. It was shocking. I want to see it at least ten more times. Thanks to Klook, I was able to make a reservation easily and went safely. There was no inconvenience at all in the ticket collection process. I will use it again next time.
I was an avid goer of the drowned man in London and was so sad when it got closed down. Visiting sleep no more gave me a load of nostalgia of the one in London it was amazing to see. The actors were amazing (I got two 1-1s!) and id extremely recommend anyone visiting or living in Shanghai to see this.
I went there with high expectations, as the Sleep No More schedule was the most important schedule of the day. I intentionally applied for Package A and waited an hour before because I was afraid I would be late, so I went in first. They said there would be a lot of walking, but the audience really chased me around, so I had to walk around a lot. They said it would be held in Korea soon, so I really want to experience how different it is from Shanghai.
