Bali Ubud Full-Day Private Tour with Monkey Forest & Rice Terrace

Updated Review Komang was an excellent guide for our full-day private tour in Ubud! He was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable about Bali. We loved visiting the Monkey Forest, the beautiful rice terraces, and several other stunning scenic spots along the way. Every place had its own unique beauty, and Komang made the whole day enjoyable, relaxed, and well organized. He was also happy to take us to beautiful viewpoints and hidden gems, making the experience even more special. Highly recommend Komang for anyone looking for a memorable private tour in Ubud! 🌴🌿📸

This tour exceeded our expectations. It filled an entire day with many different, yet equally engaging, experiences. First and foremost, thanks to our driver, Koko, who was helpful, patient, friendly, and knowledgeable. At times (at the Temple, for example), he explained what we were seeing, the reasons behind certain rituals, and many other details. Thanks also to the person at the coffee plantation who explained the production process of local coffees before delighting us with numerous coffee and tea tastings. In short, everything was perfect and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Thanks to our guide, Gede, we had a wonderful day in Ubud! Perhaps because I mentioned in advance that I wanted to take many photos at the swing and Monkey Forest, he took us to those two spots first. For the swing and Monkey Forest, he gave us about two options to choose from (for example, for Monkey Forest, whether we just wanted to see the monkeys or if we wanted a place where we could take pictures with them). We spent too much time at the swing, so the tour ran over the stated time, but he still took us to a coffee shop and the Tegalalang Rice Terraces, and even took some lovely photos for us. Thank you, Gede, for guiding us for such a long time in the heat!

Our experience was incredible!! Our guide was Widi, he took us everywhere and waited for us every time, he was very kind and explain everything about Bali and the culture. I had the best experience doing the purification ritual in the water temple cause he guided me through it and I understood how to do it the proper way. I would definetely recommend him to everyone!!!! 👏👏👏💖

We had the most amazing experience with Agust, our guide! He was flexible with the schedule to help meet our needs and requests, and the course of the trip was really nice too. There was no rush to get to the next place, so we enjoyed each stop thourougly. We and our guide shared countless conservations about the culture and traditions of Bali! If I come to Bali again, I am definately be asking for Agust again!

Smooth trip from hotel to every destination and back! This tour is a great way to see a glimpse of Ubud highlights in one day! Props to my driver and guide, Widi, who was very conversant in English and was very kind to explain about the places we visited and help out with photos. Way to go!

This was a great tour! We had loads of fun. Eri, our trustworthy driver and guide, made sure of that. He helped us ‘maneuver’ our way through the Bali Swing efficiently. He also helped us take amazing photos at the Sacred Monkey Forest sanctuary and at the rice terraces. He made the experience enjoyable! The reason why I had to take off a star was because we spent a lot of time on the road, too much traffic in between sights. We didn’t get to see Pura Tirta Empul and the waterfalls cause we ran out of time. Had we known ahead traffic would be that bad (wasn’t anyone’s fault, of course), we would have skipped coffee tasting and sit down lunch since we preferred to see all the sights . Think it’s best to plan, set time and prioritise what you want to see so you won’t get disappointed. Overall, still a very good experience!

Yasa was an excellent driver and guide throughout our Bali trip. He was punctual, friendly, patient, and very easy to spend the day with. More than just taking us from one place to another, he took the time to explain the history, culture, and Hindu traditions behind the places we visited, which made the experience much more meaningful. We especially appreciated how knowledgeable he was and how willingly he answered all our random questions. His explanations about Balinese temples, family shrines, rituals, and even the symbolism we encountered along the way gave us a much better understanding of the culture. He also drove very safely, which we definitely appreciated given some of Bali’s roads! We never felt rushed, and he was happy to accommodate our stops and pace throughout the day. Yasa was genuinely one of the highlights of our Bali trip. If you’re booking a private driver and guide, I’d highly recommend him. Terima kasih, Yasa!

This tour had to make many adjustments as we are time conscious so we need to remove some itineraries (sacred Monkey, coffee plantation, and temple) for us be able to go to our friend meet up by later afternoon and we already experience the mentioned itineraries from our previous Bali tour. We also ask our driver to go in Ubud market instead as we don't have souvenirs yet. It's good that our driver Eri was open/willing and understanding with this changes. He is also good in English and communicate well even we have many questions about the trip or some UBUD & Bali facts. He is a very recommendable tour driver. It's good we had the UBUD tour because it has many things to offer. :)

We had an amazing time exploring Ubud with our guide, Ade—who also happens to be a talented photographer! His passion for Balinese traditions shone through at every stop, from sharing insights about local ceremonies to capturing stunning photos at the rice terraces, Monkey Forest, and temples.
