My wife and I stayed for two nights and felt that this hotel was super good! Although the hotel has a history of 40 years, it is well maintained. The rooms are tidy, the supplies are exquisite, and the facilities are complete. The hotel lobby, corridors, and restaurants are all elegantly decorated, showing nobility in plain things. The hotel staff are all warm and hospitable. The hotel offers free guided tours. Thanks to the concierge John for his warm hospitality, my wife and I visited for an hour and gained a deep understanding of the hotel's history, architecture, decoration, gardens and facilities. We had the buffet breakfast for two days in the revolving restaurant on the 30th floor and the waterfall restaurant in the lobby downstairs. The food in both places was similar and of very good quality. As for the environment, each has its own characteristics, and it is enjoyable to be in them. There is a subway station 50 meters away from the main entrance of the hotel, which is very convenient for travel.

I originally booked an ordinary garden hotel room, but the staff upgraded me to a suite. It consists of a living room, a study room, two large TVs, and two wash basins in the bathroom. There are also capsule coffee machines available for use. The hotel has many supporting facilities, including museums, swimming pools, fitness rooms, saunas, large gardens, many restaurants and merchandise stores. You can enjoy a day without leaving home. Breakfast: Breakfast at Lingxuan Pavilion is a good choice. Dinner at the Waterfall Restaurant is not worth it at the retail price of 399 RMB. The crab is not fresh, the fruit selection is small, and there is no beer. Only the environment is not bad, which is a plus!

Convenient transportation: It's right outside Exit A of Taojin Station. I asked the staff if an upgrade was possible and was grateful to be upgraded to a larger room with a small living area and a very spacious bathroom. I will choose Garden Hotel again next time I visit Guangzhou.
