Sheng Yang Leisure Farm Ticket and DIY Experience in Yilan

MAY 01, 2026 🌿 First Stop of the 5-Day Holiday: Sheng Yang Aquatic Plants Leisure Farm. We arrived promptly at 9:30 AM when they opened, and as soon as we stepped in, we were greeted by a sea of green, which was incredibly soothing to the eyes! The six children gathered together, and their joyful shouts almost raised the roof. The farm offers traditional toys, ride-on cars, and soccer balls ⚽️, keeping the kids entertained from the moment they arrived. It's truly a comfortable and unique aquatic plant farm. Our first challenge was "shrimp fishing 🦞"! Although we didn't catch them quickly, the process was a lot of fun. I especially want to commend the staff member, a big brother, who was incredibly humorous! When we weighed our catch, we accidentally went over the limit, but he generously gave us the extra without an additional charge and even gave us two large bags of fish food for the kids to feed the fish. The black carp here are truly huge and impressive! While the dads were busy grilling shrimp, the six children spontaneously formed a group and went boating 🚣. Watching them paddle small boats under the bald cypress trees was incredibly picturesque. Afterward, the girls enjoyed eating shrimp while experiencing "fish 🐟 nibbling on their feet"! Finally, it was unlimited fishing time. The children were very selective, finding a super Instagrammable spot to sit. They kept getting bites there, and their confidence instantly soared! We're grateful to Mother Nature for the sunless weather today, which was perfect for fishing. The grand finale was the "Happy ♥️ Marimo Moss Ball DIY"! It started with choosing their favorite bottle, then carefully cleaning the stones, adding decorative seashells 🐚, gently placing the aquatic plants 🌱, and finally putting the star of the show—the round moss ball—into its own little world. Honestly, we stayed at Sheng Yang from opening at 9:30 AM until almost 3:00 PM. If it weren't for the fact that both adults and children hadn't had lunch yet, and we still had tasks like grocery shopping for dinner and setting up tents at the campsite, these kids definitely could have played until the farm closed without any problem‼️

The space is very large and clean, and the handmade algae ball bottle is very cute. The service staff are very friendly 👍 I recommend that you can fish for shrimps (additional burden) and you can also slide bamboo rafts and eat fish feet (free of charge). It is very suitable for killing time, only The only downside is that there are too many small black mosquitoes, but the store is very considerate and provides mosquito repellent ❤️

As soon as I entered the door, I met tourists who said that the crowds used to be crowded, but now that there are fewer people, klook is convenient for comparison. Purchasing told the service staff that klook bought double green algae DIY and double tickets, so they scanned the code and wrote off the DIY coupons and tickets. It is suitable for parents and children.

There is free parking, fishing and shrimp fishing experience. It is more cost-effective to buy a combination package ticket on Klook first. You can take your children to play for 1 day. It is a good leisure and entertainment attraction

The ticket can be used to offset 50 yuan for each of the two areas; if you don’t want to fish for shrimp, you can exchange them for free sausages in the fishing area; if you don’t want to experience the eco-bottle, you can get free drinks in the gift area! You can also play free fish and go boating.

It’s very convenient to buy on Klook. It feels like parts of the park are not maintained. I saw weeds in some places. The 100 per person admission ticket can be used to offset the park fee. You can stay there for about 1-2 hours.

Algae bulbs DIY, small children can quickly get started, but the temperature of the living environment of algae bulbs should not be too hot, so we have to carry them in our hands for the next trip and cannot put them in the car. The attached paper bag will burst soon
