Reviews summaryGreeted by the uniformed staff friendly once arrived at the meeting point. everything was smooth. We had a VR introduction on the Gondola history before taking a short walk to the pier. The Gondola experience was great that we got the chance to tour around Venice slowly on the boat. The price on Klook is very reasonable when comparing to onsite appointment. Highly recommended!
Our Grand Canal Romantic Gondola Ride in Venice was an excellent experience. I enjoyed it so much with my two teenage kids and my husband. We booked the 6:30 pm ride, and the weather was perfect — very scenic and relaxing. Google Maps guided us easily to the meeting point. If you have time, you can walk there, but since we were running late, we took a water taxi. On the way back to the hotel, we walked and enjoyed the evening atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Before riding the gondola, you need to gather at the designated visitor center to listen to the staff's instructions. When the time arrives, a guide will lead you to ride the gondola and enjoy the Venetian scenery along the way.
The tour starts with a guide explaining the history of gondolas and Venice. The guide speaks fluent English, and the content is high-quality. Despite the crowds of tourists in Venice, the guide makes sure everyone stays with the group. The explanation lasts about 20 minutes, and the boat ride is about half an hour.
Words can't describe this perfect experience. We chose the 5:30 PM tour, which started with a short guided walk where we learned about the history of the Gondola, and then we began our boat ride, just in time to see the sunset, which was absolutely beautiful.
The basic gondola ride costs €90 during the day and €110 at night if you go to the gondola station, but since I was traveling alone and couldn't share with anyone, I joined this tour. Before boarding the gondola, the guide gives a brief explanation about Venice and gondolas! I don't think you'd get this if you just rode a gondola normally, so that was great. I understand it's unavoidable due to the tour's structure, but be aware that you can't choose the route, and it doesn't go under the bridges you often see. If you're traveling with two or more people, I think it's better to go to the gondola station because you can ride the gondola with people you know and take photos and videos as you like! After all, I think a gondola ride is essential when visiting Venice, so it was a great experience! It was beautiful! Thank you!
Great way to experience the Famous Gondola ride (along the narrow canals and on the grand canal) The VR experience is informative. Must be at the meeting point 10mins before the ride. But if you prefer a solo or private ride this is not for you. The Gondola can ride 5people in total.
Five people board the gondola as a team. My wife and I sat in the back as the gondola glided along the water at a walking pace, taking us on a tour around the neighborhood. Exploring the area comfortably from the gondola offers a different perspective than walking around. It's definitely worth the money.
Perfect, very good. And being able to choose the 5-6:30 PM cruise to watch the sunset is really worth it. The only downside is that the activity page doesn't show the meeting point.
Easy to locate pickup point. The staff will "setup" their booth about 10 mins before it starts. The gondola ride was amazing and well worth for the experience.
