Reviews
The places here in Laos is very much inspired of french infrastructure with asian touch im inlove with this place my tour guides doesnt speak that much of english but kind and patient enough to still make sure im comfortable, surprisingly i enjoyed the fact that we dont understand each other that much. Thanks to them
All the tourist spot highlighted are covered. We have very good service from the driver/tour guide. He explained the needed information for us to understand the background.
The arrangement was very good. One person chartered a car without joining a group. It was cost-effective. The driver and tour guide were very enthusiastic and visited all the main attractions in Vientiane.
This is a 5-hour tour, we started at 10:30am and finished around 3:30pm. I enjoyed this city tour very much, it's a good start to see Vientiane City without any hassle of transportation. Our tour guide is nice, he waited us patiently every time we reached a destination but he does not speak English. These are the places that we visited: 1. Patuxai War Monument 2. Pha That Luang 3. Wat Si Saket Temple 4. Vientiane Museum of Contemporary Arts Just bring extra clothes so you have something to change when you sweat. Bring water and food. We visited Vientiane on February and the weather is really hot.
Just as mentioned by other reviewers, this experience was not what I’d describe as a “tour” but rather a chauffered driver service with attraction entry fees included in the price. The driver did not provide any commentary regarding the temples, monuments, etc but rather just dropped me off at each location and waited in the vehicle while I looked around on my own. Most disappointing to me was the lack of pre-confirmation from the tour operator regarding the estimated pickup time from my hotel. I didn’t receive any communication from them despite repeated requests to Klook Customer Support on the day prior to my booking, so I waited in my hotel lobby for nearly 45 minutes because the only information I had was from the Klook confirmation email that said that pickup would occur “between 0800 and 0900.”
We didn't have a tour guide; instead, the driver simply dropped us off and picked us up at the tourist spot. Despite that, the driver was excellent and very accommodating. Thanks kuya!
The That Luang, Museum of Contemporary Arts, and Patuxai day tour was a perfect blend of culture, history, and modern creativity. Exploring That Luang was awe-inspiring, with its rich history and stunning architecture. The Museum of Contemporary Arts offered a refreshing contrast, showcasing vibrant, modern Lao art. Patuxai provided panoramic city views, adding a scenic highlight to the day.
First of all, the driver is kind and nice. However, I think it would be better to include it in the description as a driving service. If you look at the reviews, some people write that a guide accompanies the tour, but I think it could be confusing. Or, it would be good to study a little bit and give an explanation. The museum staff will do it for you.
Honestly,at first i thought it is too expensive for this kind of tour. but since i am the only participant in a supposed to be a join-in tour, i realized that its price is just right. Another thing, there is no tour guide for trip. no one explained the beautiful story of each site, except on a 1 museum which has assigned lecturer from that place, but the rest of the site, there is none. The driver that i thought he is also the tourguide is just a driver, he just bought tickets of each site, gave me time limit, explaines nothing, and left me, and waited on the van. which i think is sad. i learned almost nothing, i just took photos. and also he never talked to me during the trip, no warm welcome, you can see he is not happy to do his task. but all in all the place were BEAUTIFUL. **note i included our photos of the tourguide on a museum that i mentioned, coz im just happy that someone explained something out of all the sites.
This is a must. We saw so many things, and the guide explained to us what it was. our guide was awesome, very patient, and kind. if you want a hassle free sightseeing trip, book this. Also, the shooting range experience is an interesting add-on. Highly recommended!
