Chopstick making workshop with souvenirs in the Osaka Castle area

First, choose from 15 types of natural wood, including rare options, to handcraft your own chopsticks. Shape the chopsticks using traditional Japanese tools such as a plane (kanna), and smooth them with sandpaper. Apply oil to give them a glossy finish.

You can also make your own chopstick pouch and have your name or words engraved in Japanese or your native language (additional fee applies).

Take your completed chopsticks home with you on the same day. A special souvenir is a wood-carved scented sachet infused with Japanese aroma oil.

After the chopstick-making experience, you can join a ramen-making class and enjoy homemade ramen using your new chopsticks.

Workshops are open to couples, friends, and families, and no special skills are required. All materials and support from English-speaking staff are included.
