Silver Jewelry Making Class in Galle

Discover Sri Lanka’s rich jewellery-making heritage in a traditional Galle workshop led by a master artisan with over 40 years of experience. In a small, family-run setting with a maximum of five participants, you will design and create your own jewellery piece using authentic tools and techniques. Learn melting, shaping, hammering, soldering, gemstone setting, polishing, and finishing while exploring locally sourced rough and polished gems. The artisan will also explain how to identify genuine gemstones and verify precious metals. Tea, Sri Lankan snacks, basic materials, and a moonstone gift are included. Precious metals, gemstones, gratuities, personal expenses, and optional transport are excluded. Your finished jewellery can be taken home after paying for the materials used.
