What to expect
Step into an authentic hands-on experience at The Khukuri House (KHHI Nepal) and discover the traditional art of Khukuri making, Nepal’s iconic Gurkha blade. This small-group workshop (max 3 people) runs from 9 AM to around 12/1 PM and is divided into 5 carefully designed sessions covering the full crafting process. You’ll observe master craftsmen at work, learn the history and cultural significance of the Khukuri, and try simple hands-on activities like polishing or basic shaping under expert guidance. The experience is designed for FUN n FOTO moments, giving you plenty of chances to capture real workshop action. Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with complimentary tea and water while immersing yourself in Nepal’s living craftsmanship heritage and primitive making traditions.
